Rifugio La Foresta

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno meraviglioso in questo splendido rifugio immerso nella natura toscana. Il luogo è tranquillo, curato e perfetto per chi desidera rilassarsi e staccare dalla routine quotidiana. Un ringraziamento speciale va a Vincenzo, il proprietario, che si è dimostrato estremamente disponibile, gentile e attento fin dal nostro arrivo, facendoci sentire subito ben accolti e come a casa. La posizione è ideale: circondati dal verde e dalla pace della campagna, ma allo stesso tempo a soli 20 minuti dalle prime spiagge e da borghi meravigliosi da visitare. Un perfetto equilibrio tra natura, mare e cultura.

We liked absolutely everything. Ideal place for lovers of silence and nature, the cottage in which we lived is located in the forest, around at a distance of 3-4 km. there is no civilisation at all, you are just alone with nature. Almost every day we saw wild boars and deer, it's just an amazing place. It took 20-25 minutes to get to the sea by car, the beaches in the neighbouring town of Follonica are very good and there are always free spaces in the public car park near the beach. The room itself was spacious, clean, cosy, beds very comfortable. The room has all the necessary kitchen equipment, the area is fenced, there is a barbecue area and places to relax outside. Vincenzo, the owner, is very helpful and hospitable, ready to help with any request and question. I would also like to mention the eponymous family restaurant La Foresta where we were lucky enough to dine several times, very tasty home cooked food, I have never eaten more delicious pasta, and the barbecue dishes are a masterpiece. Definitely Rifugio La Foresta is now one of our favourite places, we will definitely return there.
