Picturesque and quaint. A real hidden gem. It suited our family perfectly. Felt like a home away from home. We loved the spaciousness, sitting on the patio. The rooms didn't feel as impersonal as other accommodation.
Stairs were a bit steep, tbh.

The braai facilities, the deck with fair privacy. Having a stove, oven, and a reasonably equipped kitchen. Soap, tea, coffee and milk provided fr the first few days. The bedding and towels were clean. Rob was accommodating when my car broke down.
The small bath with no shower. The mouldy walls, especially in the kids' bedroom. The place was drafty and noisy in the wind. The old CRT 4x3 format TV, only a few channels, no WiFi. (Fibre in the area is only R499 per month).
