This is a beautiful building with an amazing garden. When you have good weather which we had over Easter, you didn't need to go anywhere else. There was plenty of garden furniture and I could see a beautiful brand new wooden table and chairs ready to be put out. There was even a pop-up gazebo for shade. Inside the house the rooms can seem a bit dark, but that's part of the atmosphere of such an old building. The kitchen was very well stocked with crockery, cutlery and glasses.

There are some tired areas that need updating such as some carpets. There are no showers, just shower attachments in the baths.

TLC from the owner was missing. Could be much better with small improvements. Dining table and especially the chairs are far too big. We felt that the house was kept clean as far as possible in such an old and charming house. But real attention for detail was missing. Old stuff left by previous guest was everywhere in the kitchen and fridge (bottle of salad dressing., vinagre, half filled packages of coffee sugar etc etc) No decent pans available to cook. They "dance" on the electric stove because the bottom is not flat at all. Furniture seemed to come from different places without a "plan" as to fitting together just a little bit. Notes everywhere around the house with do's and don'ts. But some could hardly be read because the text was almost gone because of the sunlight....and so on and on... All came down to lack of attention....
