good facilities, but very noisy

We liked the availability of a paid parking space and the elevator that goes directly to the floor, which was very convenient. The property is pet-friendly, which was important for us. There is a coffee machine both in the lobby and in the room, heating worked well, and there is a gym in the neighboring building. Supermarkets are nearby, and the bed was comfortable.

The sound insulation is very poor — we could hear every word from the neighboring room. The view from the window was quite depressing (tanks and a dirty area), and there was construction nearby, which added more noise. On Booking, I booked a one-bedroom apartment, but in reality, it was a studio, which was an unpleasant surprise. Also, there was not a single frying pan in the kitchen, which made cooking difficult.

Minus the experience with charging, it was great

The process for accessing the hotel was seamless and all digital The room was very clean and quiet. The option to get a key card was available in the lobby, if needed. Closed underground parking

If you don't have an electric car, ignore the following text. I payed for a parking space that included charging for the car. When we arrived the spaces for electric cars were either occupied by cars that were non-electric or were not charging at all. Not to mention that there were way fewer charging points than there were parking spots marked as EV only. We arrived late, so the reception was closed so there was nothing to be done. Luckily I came down to the car after we got the room and a gentleman that was charging his car gave me his spot. I salute him. This wasn't catastrophic, but the fact that I payed extra for charging and the fact that we didn't charge before we arrived at the hotel because we were counting on charging there, were enough to put a ding on the whole experience. Thing is that the reception messaged to ask me the license plate number of my car. It thought that maybe they'd place sign with my number plate on it on the spot with the charger. Hopefully this is an opportunity to improve the service. If not, remove it. That way there's no expectation/frustration. The parking is already great. Thank you

Exceptional stay

Very clean and tidy, we stayed there dor 3 nights in 2 bed apartment, only down side was in room 404 the bath sink was blocked, report it to the reception, they tried to unblock it but I think it is still blocked and water leaves sink very slowly, Also the cleaning team comes every day to clean the rooms and they do a very good job

Great place to stay in and enjoy the room

Nice living space - had everything we needed to stay at the property. Very clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and easy check in and out process. Next to a really good restaurant NOA

Our room smelled a bit but it was probably from the people who stayed in the room before us - smelled like cheese. It was a bit far from the old town but if you enjoy walking, it wasn’t too bad

New style of accommodation? Not for me

Modern, functional, budget hotel

It's the second time we stayed within a few weeks, the first time we had a very obvious spider hanging from the curtain and the second time we had a couple of bugs crawling on the floor. The rooms have paper thin walls so you can hear your neighbours' bed antics all night. It is located outside the city in an industrial area that has nothing around. Finally, the whole process (check in/out) is done digitally which makes it quite impersonal as you dont meet anyone during your stay. The fact that it is a budget hotel took its toll on the quality of many (important) accommodation aspects. Will probably not stay again unless it's the last option

I booked a two bedroom apartment but it was two joint double rooms with a kitchenette. Rooms are quite small so having the two doors in between takes up a lot of space. 3 hangers on each side in an open box. Otherwise no storage, kept our bags on the bedside tables. There was construction going on outside our window that started at 7 in the morning so we needed to close the windows in the heatwave with no aircon.

Great stay

Clean, spacious appartment, all the necessary amenities, bus stop a few steps from the hotel, gym for free, washing machines for a small fee, friendly staff. All good. Would recommend.

Ideal for those on a budget in a pricey country. Highly recommended

The room was a very good size, clean and well appointed with a kitchenette and all the pots,pans and utensils that you would need to self cater. This was enhanced by a good Aldi supermarket only a few metres from the property as well as well stocked vending machines in the lobby offering complete meals as well. The bus stop into the city was a 100 metres away and took a mere 10 minutes into the town centre. Although there was not much around the area there is a popular Indian restaurant and another high end restaurant bar both close by. The TV system also allows Chrome-cast which enables guests to relax with their own choice of entertainment. A short walk from the property is a very good swimming pool and park. Seems to have good secure underground parking too. The staff were excellent

Outsourced and not managed by the property and therefore not their fault the laundry in the basement is complicated and inefficient requiring you to register on an app together with your debit card from which they take a nominal 0.01 CHF which is refunded. Several of the machines appeared not to be working and the one I used failed midway through the cycle as did the tumble dryer. Moreover there were absolutely no instructions how to use the machines. Still it was very helpful to have a laundry facility even if it was a little challenging.

Where’s The Integrity?

The room we were given had a strong sewer smell. We went to the front ‘desk’ to report it and were told they’d send the handyman to take a look. He confirmed the smell, tried to remedy the problem but it was a plumbing issue. We were asked to return to the room to see if it was any better because there were no other rooms available, that they were completely booked. It still had the bad smell, then again we were told by management that there were no other rooms… more of being asked to wait and then suddenly there was a room available on another floor!!! We did appreciate that they tried to resolve the problem but WE FELT STAFF WAS BEING DECEITFUL and that was what really bothered us the worst!

A comfortable stay

It was stylish. I liked all the natural woods. It was very comfortable and the staff were warm friendly helpful, and spoke excellent English

It wasn’t in the best part of beautiful Bern, though we knew that when we booked. The surrounds and view were a little industrial. It was handy for the bus and Aldi however.

its new building, everything really nice, of you dont have parking, you can park on public parking space, with 200-300m walk, there is supermarkt near the Apartement. Host (receptionist) is helpful.

on my duvet there is a blood, its look like already washed, but the bloodstain still there. of course there is fresh cover for the duvet. but still a little uncomfortable

The bed was extremely uncomfortable. It was so hard that my hip was hurting from the pressure and my whole body was aching the next day. Same for my partner. And they use a very artificially smelling perfume for the sheets. Better no perfume at all. It made me nauseous. And scented toilet paper! Why? Horrible smell, who knows what nasty chemicals are on there. A pity, as everything else was ok.

Modern, clean, with a good location, few but very serious annoying problems.

The accommodation has a very good location, easily accessible by public transport (101 and 107), about 15 minutes to the center. Next to the hotel, there is also a grocery store. The interiors are beautiful and modern. I liked the self-checkin, the vending machines selling food and drinks. The rooms were nice and pleasant and comfortable. Everything is very clean. There are a lot of pets, someone doesn't like that. There is no breakfast.

1. Parking is horrible. The hotel charges a daily fee, but the underground garage was always occupied for us. We observed that anyone can drive in and park without authorization. There is a card reader, the key card opens the garage door, but those who wait patiently can easily enter through the open door because of the drivers who are driving out, this has often happened before our eyes. Does anyone check who can park there? 2. Security issues. You can only go up to the upper floors using the key card, and you can only call the elevator to the ground floor with it. But many times strangers came up to us without any kind of card. Were they guests too? Those who wait patiently can go up without a key card. No one checks it.

Nice room but a lot of disappointments during our stay

The room has the things you need, especially utensils and cooking materials.

Checking in was a pain, we had a lot of problems just to get to our room. Two nights in a row that our room card didn't work. No one onsite to help you after 8pm, only via phone call with an inexperienced customer service rep. You need to open the door a bit at night to have fresh air (otherwise it is hot), but since it is close to the train station, it is loud until past midnight. There was even 1 morning, before 7am, that someone was mowing the grass right below our room (we were on 4F) and creating really loud annoying sound. The beds are also 2 single ones next to each other so it is so uncomfortable to sleep as a couple.

Beautiful property!!!

The staff were excellent and very helpful and patient with all our questions on our first day in Switzerland, it is also near the bus stop that takes us to train station and Bern downtown, they also give free bus pass. The property is very nice and very clean, it is modern and has everything you could possible need to have a comfortable stay, there is also an Aldi nearby.

Great place to stay in central Bern

Spacious, clean, modern, and comfortable rooms in central Bern. The bus stop is a few minutes away from the hotel, and it takes you directly to the main train station in 7 minutes.

The coffee machine didn't work properly (but I guess I am just not lucky enough!). Early check-in isn't possible.

The room itself was lovely.

There is no reception outside the hours of 9am-8pm. Myself and my friend arrived at 11pm and the online check-in service was not working and we couldn’t activate our room key card. After over an hour of trying and not being able to call the emergency number I thought we were going to have to sleep in the lobby. Thankfully a lovely young woman came in after midnight and was able to call from her phone. The staff were very unapologetic. If you are going to have an online check-in system please provide a phone to call the emergency number. Our key card also stopped working after the first night and we only found out after a full day of exploring at 7:50pm so thankfully could be reset before reception closed. I was so stressed it was going to happen again we made sure we were always back at the apartment before 8pm every night thereafter.

Great place to stay in Bern, recommended!

Very modern rooms, has a complete kitchen + microwave. Much like a studio apartment. There is a supermarket and bus stop right infront of the building.

The AC was not on, but since the week we we're there was not too hot, it was fine.
