Ocean Star Apartment Sanur

Location is in a prime spot for those who love shopping in modern centres as the Icon Mall is a very very short walk from these apartments. I had room number 1 which is on the ground floor and I was very happy with that. All the staff were very efficient and extremely helpful with everything from airport pickup, cleaning, organising fixing the television and getting a technician promptly, and helping me with luggage. A very polite and understanding crew. The pool is lovely. There are self service laundry facilities available upstairs but the office can arrange laundry at very cheap rates and I found this service more convenient. It was so so cheap and well done. The kitchen facilities were a great option.

Unfortunately there is a venue nearby that plays rave music that could interfere with your sleep. I got used to it. I was there 14 days. The Ocean Star provides ear plugs if you are able to use them.

The location is absolutely perfect via the Bali shopping mall you can easily go to the beach. There are plenty of cosy restaurants and bars. Especcialy at the beach. The staff are fantastic and have been so kind to us throughout our stay. Special compl8ments to Dayu, Nanda, Sinthya and Puspa, as well as the rest of the team. They surprises us with a delicious cake and flowers for our weddingday, which was a lovely gesture! The appartement was spacious and clean locaties at the ground floor. Als a swimmingpool is there to freshing up. You definitieve wont regret staying here ! Until next time ! ❤️

Nothing.

We stayed a week in the one bedroom apartment. Staff was always smiling and gave us warm greetings. Was absolutely spotless, with great kitchen amenities. Loved the big bottle of water. Good water pressure and hot water. The bed is western style comfort for a great sleep. Was very walkable to sites and restaurants, but quiet. Would stay again when in Sanur.

Couches may need to be replaced for better comfort if staying more than a few days, otherwise no complaints.

We loved the location and as we were on the ground floor it was great to be right next to the pool, our room had an adequate kitchen area and the biggest bed we have ever seen, the lounge area had a couch and coffee table where you could sit and watch tv, however the back of the couch was broken so making it uncomfortable to sit on.

The only negative really was I was sat on the bed one day and accidentally spilt about 10 ml of Milo on the bottom sheet. I tried to clean it off but only had a micro cloth so did not do a very good job of it, I told the girl cleaning our room and she took the sheet and stuck it in a bucket of bleach, anyway this sheet was washed by the staff every day and although the stain was getting smaller it was still slightly visible. They told me I would have to buy a new sheet and that the cost would be around 500,000 Rp that was until my husband got involved and told them there was absolutely no way we were paying for a new sheet, and to be clear the stain was barely visible by this stage anyway we left and was eventually not charged, we don’t blame the staff but the Japanese owners who tell there staff they must charge guest for any accidents. The whole incident put a dampener on our stay. The staff at the hotel were fabulous and it was unfortunate for them to be put in this position.
