Ate out every eveing so really only needed the kitchen for breakfast. Quiet Location,

Location was perfect, however it was not easy to find the entrance.

Lacked a frying pan, so I could not make omelettes for breakfast. Griddle was ok for bacon but not for eggs. I resorted to doing scrambled eggs in the microwave.

Convenient, comfortable and private cottage

The cottage is comfortable and well equipped. It is private. It’s very well located, in the centre of Middleton, which is the gateway to the upper Pennines.

Everything close at hand was clean, but it would benefit from a deep clean. One fixture was broken when we arrived, and should have been fixed before or during our stay. Initially, it was hard to find!

Historic cottage in a tranquil location.

Gorgeous, quaint little historic cottage in a quiet and beautiful location. Good amenities close by and close to some great walking spots. Perfect for two and dog friendly.

Some things needed a little care and attention since I last visited in 2019. I couldn't get the shower to a comfortable temperature and the kitchen extractor fan was greasy and broken.
