Starry Domes Desert Camp

Amazing location, the staff were so hospitable, the food was great, the views of the desert were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. Star gazing was a particular highlight.

This is a well run camp which is in a great location. We really enjoyed our short stay. We didn’t do any of the activities, just enjoyed the luxury of being in very comfortable accommodation in a desert. We went to a meeting point where a driver turned up and sorted out our tyres. We then followed him to the camp. We found our own way back which was straightforward. The buffet was plentiful and tasty. The people who run it are very friendly. This is a very special place.

The late check in at 4pm means there is less time in the accommodation when you only stay one night. For future guests please ensure work is carried out after check out so privacy isn’t invaded.

The Starry Domes hotel is very well laid out. The hotel offers excellent organization for taking us into the desert. The bed is very comfortable. This accommodation offers a wide range of activities (at an additional cost). The evening meal was very generous and delicious; we particularly enjoyed it. And we particularly liked having playing cards available in each room.

The room is small. Unlike the evening meal, we were disappointed with the breakfast which did not offer enough choice.
