Very Good Value in a Perfect Location

For a hostel, this one was very comfortable. Privacy was good, with your own locker and a curtain on the bed, which makes a big difference. There were other people in the room, but everyone was respectful and there were no issues. The shower was great with plenty of hot water, and shower gel was provided. The location is amazing, very central and close to the beach, which I really loved.

There was some noise from outside, but that’s expected with such a central location. It didn’t really bother me as I was tired and slept anyway. The only thing I would improve is the charging setup. There were USB charging ports, but no regular power socket near the bed to plug in your own adapter, so charging was quite slow. Also, if you plan to use the locker, make sure to bring your own padlock. I’m not sure if the hostel provides one, but I had my own, so it was fine.

Excellent, clean hostel with welcoming, helpful staff

Really enjoyed my stay at the welcome hostel benidorm. The hostel was clean, comfortable and safe. The rooms and toilets were always clean and the owner is very friendly and helpful. He would always check everything was OK and if I needed anything at all, he went out of his way all the time to cater for myself and others in the hostel, nothing was ever too much for him. I've been to other hostels in benidorm which have been dirty or had really bad, moody hosts and this is by far the best hostel with the best reception and best owner. I will definitely return here whenever I come back to benidorm and would reccomend this place to anyone.

At 10:30 pm, two customers and I were sitting in the lobby. Then a receptionist came in and opened the door, saying it was stuffy. The customer sitting by the door said they were cold, and so did I. I got up and went to close the door. The receptionist, even though I still had three days left on my stay, kicked me out for closing the door, saying I had to leave tomorrow... Thanks you are very kindly stad.. i hope your ovner can read this problem

3 week Xmas and new year stay

Location was very good in old town .. Very clean place .. Very friendly host josé was very good and very welcoming.. Relaxed nice atmosphere in the hostel

The only thing which would make it even better is if you could cook using the cooker in kitchen as opposed to just the microwave. Microwave is very handy but for longer stays used of cooker would be better .

Amazing value

Absolutely everything about this hostel. Relaxing close to beach literally 1 min walk for everything I needed. Jose the manager was so welcoming could not do enough to help me lovely guy . I'm coming back 100 percent. Thanks for an amazing stay

Hola, paul and osay was my host and was very friendly and made me feel at home , but their was no woman there which i found a bt wierd., men only which i didnt mind too much. i felt a alone as a solo traveller and would be lovely to see a mixed hostel more then a male hostel. i hope welcome hostel benidorm is well and hope to come back one day Gracasic

Location, the Aircon’s is good , the little tv in the room was good .

The mattress was like a soft thin foam one so I didn’t like it . The noise outside from the bars goes until 3-4 am even just packing up all their chairs etc which is fair enough in the location but the window is more like a timber shutter and it sounds like the window is wide open . There we late night occupants opening and shutting doors and using the bathroom next door to the room or the rooftop which was next to it . I had the double bed private room up top level next to the outside terrace entrance. The toilet door need some tlc , it’s hard to close and made me worry how hard it would be to open it up . In my room I had a few little baby flies or sand flies annoying me to the point where I would’ve loved to spray some insect killer around the place .

Great staff and accommodation in an excellent location. Better than I had expected!!

Staff were very informative about the local area and recommendations. The room, beds and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. The other guests in the shared room were all quiet and respectful of others. The roof terrace was a nice space too.

A bit noisy from the bars below around 1.30am but nothing ear plugs couldn't fix - it was absolutely fine! (Normally I would be still out too, but had to leave early the next morning)

Absolutely fabulous

Absolute gem of a place for an alone traveller. The staff are super friendly, and they keep it safe for everyone to enjoy a good sleep. The location is perfect for a Benidorm getaway, and I would totally and without hesitation recommend it. I will definitely go back there at some point.

Excellent accommodation at a good price!

It is perfectly located close to everything. I absolutely loved my stay there. The guys were extremely helpful and prepared to assist at any time. I will definitely recommend staying there. It is well maintained and the cleanliness is top notch. Super impressed with the service, facilities and location. Also loved the fact that I received a towel for my stay. Hope to return some day soon. ❤️

Hostel is well situated in the heart of old town, the staff was kind, welcoming and available. The place was clean and smelt nice, towels provided with shower gel.

Only one bathroom/shower available. No locks provided with draws but a reasonable €3 fee to obtain one.

My fave place to stay in my fave guilty-pleasure city

Great location in the old town and very close to the beach. I usually stay here for the odd weekend party - this time I worked from the hostel for 1 day and it was very comfortable and calm. Then I could go to the parties :) The remaining days were great with good and sociable vibes.

My list of improvements are so light and small that it shows what a great hostel this is. I'd like to see some full-length mirrors in the rooms, and some more tea in the kitchen :)

Really great

I booked a bed in a mixed room as there was no female only option when I booked. Despite this the staff had made an effort to segregate the men and women so I only had women in my room over the 4 days. The locker did not require a padlock, and inside was a towel and shower gel free of charge. Additional towels or sheets were €2. The bed was comfortable with a light and plug and bottom bunk had a privacy curtain. The terrace was a lovely area for the evening to relax. The lobby/reception always had staff as well as drink to purchase and tables to eat at. There were additional showers/toilets outside the room door use. Everywhere was kept clean and despite its central location the rooms were quite soundproof. Staff great and accommodating, though spoke little English.

Sometimes a bit of a smell of sewage. I also had one night with drunk and noisy people in my room who smoked in the room but this is a risk with hostels

Hostel is OK for backpackers but I realised that an inexpensive hotel would have been better for me.

The location was very good being in the centre of the old town and very close to the beach, bars and shops,etc. The two chaps in charge were very friendly and kept all areas clean and the sheets and towels changed fairly regularly.

The hostel is too small with the entrance that is kept wide open during the day being just a number of steps away from the door to the shared room I was staying in on the ground floor. You are given a key to the front door for night entry, a key your room and a key to your locker but security was often compromised when those leaving the shared room on the ground floor did not lock the door to the room that was then accessible to anyone who could walk straight through the front door (during the day) and into your room. Both members of staff were at the reception desk most of the time during the day but there could be times when they would not have been able to monitor unwelcome guests. The website gives the impression that the rooms are on the first and second floors but my shared room was on the ground floor and this meant that it got very noisy when the local penyas were celebrating outside our window. Our room (as the other shared rooms) was just too small for 4 x double bunk beds and it was imposssible not to disturb others or be disturbed when leaving or exiting the room especially at night. We had a very distruptive room fellow that I had to complain about on the second day of his behaviour and he was indeed sent on his way. There is a kitchen for self catering, it has three sinks, a microwave, a digital hob and oven, a large fridge freezer and cold storage cabinets for your food, the problem is the lack of worktop space for food preparation and the worse thing is that the kitchen is locked over night and not unlocked until after 10 am or later which is not good, it should be available after 6.00am surely. I was not able to make breakfast before I left. There are no meals that you can buy at the hostel although you can buy some alcohol and various other bottled products from one of the cabinets near reception.

The price cause most hostels price in Spain only around 15 to 20 euro a night its only a bed to sleep in there charging 25 to 35 big difference to a lot of people.

If all you need is a bed for a night or two then this could be a good value option.

Rooms and beds were clean and comfy enough and in a good location in the old town.

Ground floor room means you have to cross reception area past the open front door to get to the one shower and one toilet (inconveniently housed together). Toilet badly needed cleaning when I checked-in at 3pm and there was a damp, soiled towel on the floor. Both the dirty toilet bowl and the wet towel were still there when I checked out at 11. Not all bad but I could have had my own air-conditioned room with balcony, tv and fridge with 24hr concierge for 20 euro more than I paid here and wish I had.

Loved It - Will Be Back Again!

The staff were brilliant and very friendly. The rooms are cleaned daily. The facilities were great. I had a room with a shared wc and shower, but there were additional shower rooms down the corridor if someone was using it. All the girls using the room were friendly and considerate. The location is superb 👌. Close to the beach and if you want the nightlife of new town then it's approx a 10min walk to reach the strip.

I would have liked privacy curtains on the bunk beds as some of the room users were early risers, but that's just a personal preference. Perhaps some mosquitoe nets on the windows - I got bitten quite badly, but the windows needed to be open because it was hot in the room - again, a personal preference.

Best hostel or accommodation in old town centre

Place is small, but we'll maintained and clean. I did not use the kitchen, it looked good. Beach is just 100 metres from the the door. Good restaurants around in walkable distance. Toilets were clean and hot shower for 24hrs. Staff is very friendly. If you're traveling alone you can't get better hostel.

As the place is in the centre of the old town, i felt it is little noisy to sleep.
