Welcome to the Dancing Clouds Lodge! This modern new 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom cabin built in the highly regarded Powder House Pass Development is a great place to spend a vacation! Complete with hot tub, open family room, large deck, garage access, paved roads and access to the community clubhouse that features a pool.
The Dancing Clouds Lodge is a brand new build that was specifically designed for guest use. Complete with a hot tub, gas grill, and large deck this home has everything that you will need for a great stay. The kitchen is fully furnished for cooking home meals and the main level is an open concept with plenty of room for lounging and relaxing around the beautiful fireplace. Downstairs features another living area with a foosball table and wet bar.

Lower Level-1 Queen Bedroom, 1 Bunk Room-4 Full Beds
Guests have full access to the entirety of the home during your stay including the garage.
While staying at Dancing Clouds Lodge the check-in and check-out process is completely contactless. Tracy at TrailHound Cabins is always available though if you ever have questions or something isn't working quite right.
Powder House Pass is a development just south of Lead that is perfectly located near all the activities around the Deadwood area. The development includes 100% paved roads so you never have to worry about wet, muddy roads. While staying at the Dancing Clouds Lodge enjoy access to the clubhouse. The clubhouse provides guests access to a pool, firepit, community game room, and kitchen. The kids and adults alike will love going for a swim after a long day on the trails.
If you happen to be bringing a trailer or two, there is an overflow trailer parking area nearby. Free to use.

We had a wonderful time visiting the property. We had 3 families and a total of 11 people stay here. The home is spacious and clean and the kitchen is well stocked with supplies. The only warning I will give is that only 1 bedroom is on the main floor and we had several people with us that are of an advanced age who struggled to do the stairs to their beds. Also noise travels to those in the lofted two bedroom so put your earliest risers in that location. This home is gorgeous and we had a fabulous time!

Our stay in this house was great! Location was super, the house was nice and clean. There were a few small issues (light bulbs and such) that the property manager dealt with right away. The kitchen could use pans (cookie sheets) and a few more storage containers in case you’re cooking, but since those were really our biggest concerns, I’d say we’ll be back again next year!!

The 2 bed room up the loft. This bedroom is not an ideal for sleeping quarters. Guests can’t go to bed because there is no wall overlooking the kitchen. This is misleading as a bedroom.

We stayed at this beautiful home in a wonderful neighborhood that is just on the outskirts of town. It is a 10 minute drive to the local grocery store and gas station in Lead. It is in a great neighborhood, a few blocks walk or drive from the clubhouse with the two pools and mini splash pad. One pool has a great ledge for toddlers to play or just to sit. The house itself was very clean, a well stocked kitchen with all the supplies you could need. Bathrooms were spacious. The hot tub was great to have to relax and star gaze at the end of a long day. We would recommend this rental to anyone and would love to stay here again. The host was also so nice and made sure we had everything we needed.
