About this apartment rental
Our ****-star vacation rental, with 77 square meters of living space spread over two floors (including a basement level), accommodates 2 people. The living room, featuring an additional sleeper sofa, an XXL reading chair, and a flat-screen TV, invites you to relax and unwind. A spacious workspace with free Wi-Fi and an inductive charger for your smartphone is also included. The luxurious box-spring bed ensures restful nights. From both the living room and the bedroom, you can enjoy direct access to the garden and a view of the natural surroundings. The fully equipped kitchen, featuring a dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, XXL stove, oven, microwave, electric kettle, egg cooker, toaster, and coffee maker, leaves nothing to be desired. The bathroom is small but charming. Here you’ll find a bathtub, a separate rain shower, a towel warmer, a mirror cabinet with a sink, a toilet, and a hair dryer. To do your laundry, you’ll find a washing machine in the laundry room for your exclusive use. An iron, ironing board, and clothes rack are provided. In the summer, enjoy direct access from the kitchen to the patio. The patio furniture invites you to dine outdoors. A small contact grill is available for your use here. In spring and summer, you’re welcome to use the gazebo in the garden, which has two lounge chairs. Children and babies are welcome upon request. There’s plenty of play equipment in the garden. Please note that pets are not allowed. We are a smoke-free home. Towels and bed linens are provided. Do you have allergies? Please indicate when booking that you require hypoallergenic bedding. Parking is available right next to the house. Check-in is available starting at 4:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Keys are handed over in person or, optionally, via self-check-in using the key safe. No pets allowed. Crib, changing pad, bottle sterilizer, high chair, and stroller available upon request. Please be sure to specify what you need when booking. We want even our youngest guests to feel at home with us.

Our stay in Windberg was excellent - it was the perfect base to explore this part of Bayern. The Bavarian Forest is beautiful and there is so much to see and do within a short drive. All the necessities you need are nearby - grocery store 5 mins, several restaurants within 10 mins (some walkable) … truly, you could not ask for a better location. The apartment is wonderful - extremely comfortable, inaccurately clean, and beautifully decorated. The host has furnished a perfect kitchen (everything and more than you need to fix a perfect meal). The furnishings are comfortable and new - but, also very reflective of the region. In addition, the apartment is private and has a private entry and reserved parking. Best of all, there is a washing machine IN the apartment. We were underway for a month, so the washer was a welcome part of our stay. Honestly, if you’re going to spend time in the area … this is a perfect place to stay. Peace and quiet abound!! Finally, your hosts are extremely friendly and will help answer any questions. They know the area and openly share their knowledge and passion for the region.
