You can walk down to the town center, 300 m away, where you can go shopping and explore local restaurants. Neighbouring towns of Lucca, Pistoia and Firenze are also worth visiting. If you wish to enjoy the sea breeze, you can drive down to the beach, 35 km away.

We really enjoyed our stay at Fabio's apartment. It has a lovely view, the area is very quiet and about half an hour up the small mountain road. We were lucky to have the entire house to ourselves because the other two apartments were vacant at the time. The old appliances give the place a unique character that we found charming. The last day it rained a lot and the kids started shivering because temperatures dropped. Fabio went out of his way to provide us with electric heating for the night. Amazing! Really the only downside for us was that we totally missed that pets are allowed in these apartments. Which is entirely our own fault as it is advertised correctly. We were able to prevent any bigger issues with the meds we brought. But in case you are allergic to animal fur or heavily allergic to dust, this place might not be for you. Which you most likely knew before reading this anyway. For anyone else, this is a lovely and peaceful place with a kind and welcoming host.

We had a lovely relaxing time here. Very clean and nicely furnished property. Fabio was friendly and helpful. The place is beautiful and quiet up in the mountains. If you arrive at night like we did it can be a bit tricky to find. A very relaxing stay.

Die Anfahrt 20 Minuten eine enge Bergstraße hinauf ist nicht ohne, aber es lohnt sich. Der Ausblick aus dem Ferienhaus und von der Terrasse auf die gegenüberliegenden Hügel und kleinen Dörfer ist traumhaft.
Die Einrichtung ist schlicht und rustikal. Das Schlafsofa könnte mal ausgetauscht werden aber insgesamt ist es wunderschön mit einem netten Gastgeber.
