This majestic seaside manor was once featured on the cover of Virginia’s official State Travel Guide. It boasts spectacular ocean views from every room. Cathedral ceilings in the large great room combined with an entertainment center and full wet bar offer a relaxing atmosphere.The gourmet kitchen looks out over a large panoramic circular windowed dining/breakfast area, with easy access to the adjacent covered porch and large oceanfront deck. Two large bedrooms have private deck access. On the second story, a well-stocked library/office also offers large panoramic windows, making it the best place to watch the sea, read a book, or take an afternoon nap. The second story also features a full kitchenette, a Ping-Pong/pool table, and a circular lookout tower. Amenities include flatscreen TVs in each bedroom, a 65-inch flatscreen HDTV in the gathering room, DVD players, high-speed WiFi, a gourmet kitchen, a wet bar, lots of decks, and a gas grill. Each bedroom has a private bath!

We enjoyed the house at Sandbridge Beach. It was in a great location. The only feedback we would provide is that the house is a little dated and needs some updating by the owner.

Location Location Location!!!! We would rent this home again. It was clean and the perfect size for our family. There is a new couch and dishwasher. We appreciated the Keurig and an extra traditional coffee maker for larger gatherings. The weather was great and we only needed the AC for one of the days we were visiting. There were some things I would like to have known before renting. We needed to make another grocery order for paper goods; trash bags, paper towels, TP, etc. I am giving this beach home rental an excellent rating, because the inconveniences were not that big of a deal. Although, beach towels and a couple of beach chairs would have made this a perfect trip. The pool table was a big hit and we loved the reading nook area. Our family had a great stay and we would recommend the home!

Villamare has four nice-sized bedrooms, three of which have private baths attached. There’s a great closet filled with games and tons of DVDs, and the light in the house is amazing. The kitchen needs work. The dishwasher was broken before we got there and when the replacement arrived, it couldn’t be installed because the pipes were too corroded. Kitchen utensils, pots, and pans are also in need of updating, and the dining table is wobbly as are the chairs. There is no outdoor shower which made for a lot of sun being unwittingly tracked inside and in the bathrooms — many drains took a while to empty which I’m guessing is because of the sand buildup. There’s a short walk to the beach which is lovely and the beach itself is a little slice of heaven.
