Large lodge, located in Elland, West Yorkshire, easy to collect Keys. Lodge quite clean but clearly well used. Hot tub good. Heaters provided as a cold time of year. Nice big kitchen and log burning stove.

We felt under pressure for a few hours before check out due to people / owners loitering and looking in to the lodge - no one asked us. Turns out, they wanted to charge an electric car in the lodge space. I was there for my father’s funeral the day before but regardless of, this isn’t ideal and a bit unprofessional. Might be worth putting check out time as 8am if that’s the time you are going to hang around outside .

Location was fantastic with plenty of supermarkets close by to purchase groceries from. The hot tub being available at any point in the day and evening was the icing on the cake and was enjoyed by us all. Having the nature reserve in walking distance was an added bonus and some of the group enjoyed time at the local parks playing tennis.

The lodge was perfect. I especially loved the kitchen, dining, and balcony area on the top floor, which offered a lovely view of the canal and woods. The beds were really comfortable, including the pillows (and I'm quite particular about them). The smart TV was convenient for watching films and relaxing in the evenings.

Blackout curtains would have been nice but maybe thats a ploy to make you wake up early and make the most of your stay!

Very comfortable bedrooms and lovely and clean, enjoyed our stay! nowhere near enough seating in the lounge if full capacity. Had a very bad experience with booking.com trying to add an extra night for what should have been a simple transaction,had to go to the property direct which ended up being very time consuming.

Not enough seating in the lounge there was 4 of us any more people you would struggle. The knives in the kitchen struggled to cut mushroom!
