Because of the apartment below, there is a full flight of stairs that you will need to climb in order to access the home. This home is NOT for guests with mobility challenges.
ROADS: This home is in a mountain town. As such, you can expect dirt roads, potholes (due to things like traffic and rain), and slow speed limits. We recommend driving appropriate vehicles for the conditions.
WINTER: 4 WHEEL DRIVE, SNOW TIRES, AND HIGH GROUND CLEARANCE RECOMMENDED IN SNOWY CONDITIONS.

~ PARKING: This home has a large driveway. We estimate a 24 ft trailer (unhooked) or 3 cars wide and 2 cars deep will fit.

From checking in to communication during our stay, the managers of this property (Kabino) were fantastic. The place was clean, spacious, well stocked and was as advertised. We had a fantastic time visiting yellowstone and exploring the surrounding areas. If we come back to this area with all of the kids again, we will be staying here for sure!

The place was lovely. Decor was amazing. Well equipped- had everything we needed. About a 25 minute drive to West Yellowstone entrance. Great market right at entrance to subdivision.

When first arriving we were impressed and overall the house is beautiful. It’s spacious in the living area and kitchen which makes for nice hangout with larger families. The seating in the living room was comfortable and it’s very nicely decorated and new looking.the kitchen had everything we needed and the laundry room had detergent. The drawbacks I struggled with were how uncomfortable the beds were and especially how hot the upstairs rooms got which is were the main “master” king room was. When entering the house on arrival it was super warm despite it being only in the 50’s outisideThe upstairs king bed appeared to have been broken previously and it was held up by wood pieces under it. The bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever been in, and we travel a lot. It’s a metal bed, and was loud just to get in and out off, it would wake up my baby. The pillows were also very uncomfortable and the quantity of pillows lacked. There was lots of decorative pillows, but I don’t know if those are washed after each guest visit, nor would they have been comfortable anyway to sleep on. It was terribly hot. The thermostat says not to touch, but it was set way too high and we were all so hot. I bumped the temp down and even that didn’t help. I hardly slept. Ceiling fan was super loud and squeaky. The king bed was almost against the wall so person on one side had to crawl off bed from the front. Hot tub was off and cold when we arrived which took a day to heat up after that.
