Avanti By the Sea is in a beautiful newer condominium building located at the northern border of beautiful Wildwood Crest. You are just across the street from one of the most beautiful beaches on the east coast. This northern Crest location is within an easy walking distance from the southern end of the Wildwood boardwalk and its many activities and attractions. It's the perfect Crest location for a great vacation!
This condominium has 2 "master" bedrooms, each with a queen bed and a full private "ensuite" bath. There is an extra 1/2 bath in the living area and TWO queen sofa sleepers out there too. Sleeps up to eight guests comfortably here. This home is nicely and comfortably and well furnished. It is so light and bright and sunny! The large front windows and the cathedral ceilings let the sun shine in. You have beautiful ocean and city views from your living area, as well as a nice ocean view from your long front balcony. It stretches across the entire width of the home. Enjoy Friday Night Fireworks here!
Enjoy HDTVs in every room, upgraded appliances and all the expected amenities in the kitchen, and there is even a high efficiency front loading washer and dryer in the laundry room. We had a wonderful week. The condo was beautifully decorated. All the amenities we needed were included. The beds were very comfortable. Only downside for the checkin was because there is not a key that whole going to the office could have been avoided if the code to get in was sent just prior to checkin. Also, as a first time vacationer to the area I will probably stay further away from the boardwalk toward Cape May in the future. That area seems to be more family oriented.

The check in process was quick; however, it was pretty silly to force paying guests to sweat being even a few minutes late for a check in that wasn't necessary. They read you the rules and give you a numeric key code. I would have much preferred not sweating in traffic worried about paying extra fees for a few minutes and just proceeded straight to rental as I have done with other rentals. The condo was fairly clean, though my baby quickly found food on the floor that the cleaning crew had missed. The smoke detectors beeped incessantly off and on all week starting the day we checked in. They wouldn't/couldn't send someone that day so luckily my husband could reach the high ceilings on a step stool because if it was just me I would have just had to listen to the incessant beeping. Despite visits from their staff, we had to have people come out multiple times for beeping smoke/CO detectors and at points had multiple detectors down. The screen door was broken off the door leading to the balcony and no one seemed interested in fixing that. It was not fixed during our stay. The sliding door to balcony was very finicky and you could only close it if you also locked it. The mirror fell off the powder room within minutes of us checking in. The condo was nicely decorated but it really looked like it needed some TLC and maintenance. There was a LOT of noise from the upper floors. The pool for the building is small, but was great for us as we have small children.
