Newly renovated, hard-to-find 3 bedroom, 2 full bath home (with luxurious heated floors in the bathrooms!). Large bonus room with smart TV & dvd player (& all 8 seasons of the Andy Griffith Show on dvd!), Atari arcade game machine, game table & desk/work area; beautiful deck, huge backyard AND dog friendly! Fully supplied eat-in kitchen with a stackable washer/dryer. 5 minutes to the historic downtown area: Snappy Lunch, gift & antique stores, Andy Griffith Museum & so much more! Also 5 minutes from the beautiful Granite City Greenway.

"The house is situated on a beautiful piece of property. Everything is within a short drive or walk to get to shops, restaurants, and the amazing trail that runs along the river...we are avid outdoor enthusiasts, and it is truly one of the best trails we have walked. The game room is awesome, and the back deck is the perfect place for morning coffee, as it is situated overlooking the backyard. The Hosts were very responsive to questions and all instructions were well described. Great location, close to all attractions. Nice quiet, comfortable, home with all the amenities we needed. Would definitely recommend staying there.

We have stayed twice at the location. It is convenient to everything we need in the area, a quiet neighborhood (except for the errant rooster:)), and gives us a space of our own while we are visiting family. The house is well appointed, even though we only use one bedroom, and could easily accommodate more people. We particularly enjoy the 'extra' recreation room which gives us a cool space to unwind in between activities.

This property was perfect for our family of four. Our two sons day-camped at Raven Knob (25 min) drive while we enjoyed all Mount Airy had to offer.The house was in a great location. The neighborhood was very quiet. My husband and I were able to get in our daily run and feel safe while doing so.The home was clean and included anything we could possibly need. Beds were comfortable. Linens and towels provided. Kitchen was well-equipped.My son and I are allergic to dogs, so I was a bit worried that we might not do well at a dog-friendly house. BUT there was no issue with our allergies all week. House was clean with no signs of dog hair.I worked remotely the entire week and the internet was fast and reliable. I had a few questions leading up to our stay and the hosts were very responsive. You won't go wrong booking Mayberry's Best! We would definitely stay here again.

First time using VRBO and everything was fantastic from check in to check out. Since this was my first stay at VRBO property I really had no idea what to expect but it was far beyond expectations. The rental property was super, best I have ever seen. From bedrooms, family room, kitchen all was excellent accommodations. The visits to Mt. Aire and surrounding were super especially the trip to Mt. Aire town, ride in the cop car and pictures taken. The hosts Darrin & Rebecca were great seeing that we had everything for the stay. Highly recommend this place. Couldn't be happier.Best vacation in my 83 years.
