About this cabin rental
Welcome to Skyridge Cabin! This beautiful log home is nestled in a private woodsy area convenient to South Asheville shopping, dining, and only 20 minutes to Downtown Asheville. You will immediately feel at home with this cabin as your home base while you go out and explore all the Blue Ridge Mountains have to offer.
You are greeted with an open floor plan as you enter, with a living room displaying vaulted ceilings and a stacked stone fireplace. The kitchen has upgraded finishes including granite counters, stainless appliances, and an island with plenty of space to whip up your favorite meals. Another gathering space is located on the lower level with more room to spread out. There are 3 guest rooms, 2 on the main level and 1 on the lower level, each ensures a comfortable sleeping experience.
You'll have a fenced in yard and a large, wrap around deck to enjoy the fresh mountain air. Gather by the fire pit for s'mores and create memories of your getaway to the mountains!

No Pets: Many of our guests have allergies so we have maintained a pet-free environment so they can enjoy their vacation without the potential of an allergic reaction. If you have a pet we can recommend some alternatives nearby.
Early Check In and/or Late Check Out may be possible, depending on cleaning schedules and other reservations. If it is possible, there may be an additional fee that would be determined based on the time that you wish to check in or out and the seasonal rates.
Please inquire for details regarding payment, the cancellation policy, military discounts, and trip insurance.
Note: Reservations over 30 days are subject for review prior to acceptance. A separate rental agreement will be required for 90+ day stays.
Last Minute Bookings: Reservations made within 7 days of check-in require additional verification, including selfie/photo of government-issued ID matching the reservation name, and photo of payment method in the primary guest's name. Failure to complete verification may result in cancellation.

Perfect location. Easy to get to hiking or near by towns. We were very happy that we chose this property. Cozy and warm. We would like to come back.

Great place, very quiet and secluded location without being too far away. We loved sitting on the deck and watching the sky and wildlife, and the downstairs area was great for gathering and watching movies. My two notes are that the walls provide zero sound barrier and that the driveway can only squeeze two midsized vehicles in it.

The cabin was very clean and had a lot other places do not: good supply of coffee, sugar, creamer, filters; spices and some oil; lots of utensils; good instructions and communication.

We were excited to stay at Skyridge for our getaway. The location is centrally located to the area we were exploring. The house was very clean and comfortable. We all felt the beds were great but the pillows were awful. We did have an issue with the downstairs tub/shower. It leaked from one of the pipes. My husband turned off the water supply to the tub and we mopped up the water which ran into the hallway. They did fix it the next day but even after that, the design is flawed when you shower because the shower curtain is so long it takes up a little of space in the tub and it doesn't close all the way so you are still getting water on the floor. Ended up having everyone use the upstairs shower. Not safe to use for older adults. And the staircase is quite steep- again just an FYI for older guests. The other issue which should have been mentioned in the listing is the WiFi was extremely spotty on our devices. The TV streaming worked fine using our sign-in - which was mentioned ahead of time.
I don't want to discourage people from staying here because it is a beautiful house and you feel like you are away from it all. Just know there are a few issues you may want to consider - they may or may not matter to you
