Florence Country Residence

It was often quiet round the pool. Its cooler in the hills than in the city, the breakfast is delicious, but there are also other local spots that are great.

The apparent had a washing machine, but no detergent was provided, and locally it could only be purchased in large amounts. In September there are a lot of bugs too so bring some repellent!

Perfect tranquil location in the hills of Tuscany, only 25 minutes from Florence! The view was fabulous and the appartment great: clean, comfortable and well equipped. The staff was also very friendly and helpful, I definitely reccommend staying here!

True Tuscan hide-away. Beautiful, authentic and amazing pools. I worked remotely while I was there and the WiFi was excellent.

The service was a bit inconsistent- everyone was lovely but sometimes there were mixed messages and it was hard to understand - like why I could have a coffee at the pool one day but not the next.

The main hotel property is absolutely beautiful and fully restored. If you are staying there, you will very much enjoy your visit. The staff were helpful and the owners were very kind.

We stayed in a portion of a home off-site (1-2km) from the main hotel. The home is slated for restoration in the fall and needs it desperately. It’s clear the house has charm and is historical however, the lack of screens (and surplus of mosquitos due to all the rain!) meant that we couldn’t keep the house open and it smelled musty during our stay. The bathrooms are at least 30+ years old (until reno’s are completed) and there are many small touches needed to help future guests feel more at home. I was able to connect with the owner prior to my departure and shared some feedback and she was very open to making needed improvements.
