Overall I do not recommend

The location is nice, in the middle of nature, and it was quiet

Perhaps we were not familiar with the concept of Gîte. It is very basic, you have to make your own bed, none of the towels match. This is all ok if known in advance. What we did not find Ok is the smell in the bathroom as there is no ventilation. There was dust in some places, some old dirty sponges and no dishwasher liquid. Therefore the plates, glasses etc smelled bad and we could not use it. There was no air-conditioning even though it was mentioned in the room facility. The owner kept saying it is bioclimatique, ok but the fact is the room did not cool down until early morning.

Nice week in Cantal.

Kitchen and living area was large and well equipped, modern, clean. 2 bedrooms, slept well. The small pool was a bonus , water was 30* so fine for a dip Supermarket and other amenities only 5-10 minutes by car Only a few chalets so it was generally quiet.

The WiFi réception in the chalet was poor and sometimes non existant, but we were furthest chalet from the box. We had a car so not a problem ,but there is nothing much to walk to in the immediate area where the chalets are.

Exceptional

Quiet location good for stop over or longer break. Comfortable and plenty of room for family or larger group. Small pool is a good bonus too. Owner very friendly.
