Property quite dated. Refrigerator door loud noise everytime opened or closed. View great. Make sure you bring towels rags for kitchen. Elevator very unreliable had to use stairs. Would not recommend

Things were broken when we arrived. We were told they would be taken care of during our visit but never were.

The parking is horrible. Very tight parking underneath, and it appears no one there knew how to drive. Was very stressful just to get a spot. Then we were told the elevator we would use was broken, so there was one elevator for the entire place. So there was constantly a line, and would take up to 10 minutes to get in. The outside of the rooms was built like a prison. Solid concrete walls with pipes exposed. Not a welcoming beach vibe at all. The room itself was nice, but not up kept. Needed a lot of renovation and repair in bathroom and kitchen. The blender did not work, the kitchen sink backed up. Could not lock the upstairs shared bathroom which made it uncomfortable. The pool was supposed to close at a certain time at night, but every night there were kids screaming in the pools, and drunk people yelling on their balconies. There are just way too many condos and rooms for such a tiny area of beach, so there was just way too many people. On top of this, the beach vendors selling umbrellas and chairs took over the ENTIRE beach, forcing you move way down, or spend the 45 for 2 chairs and an umbrella. The trip was nothing but stress. Even at night, there were 100 flashlights on the beach. Just way too many people. I highly suggest finding somewhere that isn't so busy.

This condo is in a good location. Close to many things and on the beach. The condo was clean, but the pictures are dramatically different from what you actually see. The building is filthy. The inside of the condo is very outdated and the walls were dirty in many places. The furniture is old and icky. Cabinets in the kitchen are falling apart. The pictures on the site need updating as this isn’t what the condo looks like anymore. We enjoyed our stay, but unfortunately, will not be returning.

When we arrived for our stay the door to our unit was open (propped open with the door stopper) & the unit was hot. The refrigerator never cooled our food properly. The ice maker was broken & we had to use ice trays. The dishwasher didn’t work. The fan & most electrical outlets in the downstairs den did not work (this is a fire hazard). Because of the outlets not working properly, the light over the breakfast table did not work unless you moved the plug around. The elevator was broken & we had to carry up luggage & groceries to the 3rd floor. The skillets need to be replaced (nonstick coating is peeling off & unsafe to cook with). The microwave was filthy & needs to be replaced. One of the sinks in the master bathroom would not drain & there was mold in the shower. All these issues were reported & nothing was resolved during our stay.

This condo was extremely dirty. There were live roaches, no instructions on checking out so we just left before our time. The water pressure was awful could not even get shampoo out of my hair. I have never had this bad of an experience and am extremely disappointed. That was a lot of money spent on a dirty condo.

Door code hangs up and sometimes doesn’t work, master bed broken, floor was dirty, living room and master bedroom blinds broken and missing panels, living room lamp didn’t work, house keepers left trash in the floor and things behind bedside table. Tub stopper broken…. I’m tired of listening things, you get me point! For the fee to stay and cleaning fee I’d expect better furniture and a clean room!

The view was absolutely amazing. Condo was right by the stairs which helped us burn off some of the great vacation food we ate. The condo is two levels which gave the kids their own floor and the master was on main which gave the parents our own space. I would definitely love to stay at this unit again. Amazing vacation!

The unit was clean and roomy but the mini blinds in the living room need to be replaced to help keep the heat out. The beds upstairs need mattress toppers and to be attached to the headboards or either remove the headboards

Pay for what you get with Sugar Beach condos. No updates to the facilities in 20yrs and the rooms are just as old. The condo was great but the stairwell is located right next to you and it’s the only way to get to the beach from that side of the complex.

Thankfully, the previous visitors noted the elevator thing but didn’t mention that it was on the complete other side of the complex from where we were (it’s a U-shape. Where the elevator is on the left U and the condo is on the right of the U. Dishwasher Lowe rack was completely rusted out and gross. The kitchen was in need of some work. The view and location/proximity to the beach made the negatives tolerable. The complex, in general was in need of some work/updating. There were potholders.

Great place to stay, home is in need a a couple minor repairs (door handle to balcony was broken and there were several missing slats in the blinds in front of both balcony doors which was a privacy issue in the balcony bedroom). It had a beautiful view, plenty of space and for my family. We did not encounter any issues during our stay, but would have liked to not feel like someone could see in the condo at night through the gaping holes in the blinds. We would definitely stay here again if those issues were fixed. You could hear the pool noise through the balcony doors, but luckily the 10 pm quiet time was either enforced or people were courteous and stopped the music and shouting then. The elevator near the unit was also not running due to construction, but that wasn't a deal breaker we were able to use the steps for most all of our stay. The kids loved the pools and beach access.

The Good: The location was great. Just outside of the busyness of Gulf Shores but easy to drive wherever you need to go. The beach access was so close and the pools were lovely and very much enjoyed. The space is adequate for a larger family and the balcony view is fantastic. Communication with the rental company was great. They are quick to respond and provide any needed information. Not So Good: The property could use some basic improvements, such as the broken blinds in the master bedroom balcony door that don’t actually function as blinds due to the huge gaps in them. The showers didn’t drain well. While the kitchen is stocked with a good bit of basics regarding cookware there are no oven mitts, dish cloths or dish towels. The elevator closest to the rental was out of order and we weren’t made aware, so it wasn’t super accessible with my small children and elderly mother in law.

I had to purchase purchase shower hook for the master bath shower. There were only five hooks and a rubber band holding the shower curtain rod. And the shower curtain rings in the shower upstairs were rusted to the rod and made it difficult to move the shower curtain. The condo was great otherwise

We loved the master being on the first floor, and the other 2 bedrooms upstairs so everyone had their own space. The half bath downstairs was brillant. The view was amazing. We will definitely rent the same unit again!

Great location if you’re wanting to be close to orange beach. You’ll have to sacrifice your back and comfort, unless you opt to sleep on the couch. If you like dry clothes, don’t operate the kitchen faucet. Dishwasher didn’t work properly, front door stopper didn’t work properly either, shower head pressure was poor and the ceiling fan upstairs was a little concerning. It was not properly secured to the ceiling at all. General maintenance was poor. Upon arrival, we called Vacasa due to no clean towels or air conditioning. Vacasa suggested we get the dirty towels left by the previous occupants in the master bath closet and wash them. We opted to not do so, so Vacasa brought clean towels and fixed the air conditioning. It was still a struggle to keep the upstairs cool. Highlights were definitely the price, location and view.

Very convenient! We had plenty of room in our 3 bedroom condo.. it was directly on the beach, 3 big pools plus a kiddy pool so we had plenty of room to swim 🏊‍♂️ my only negative would be the beds aren't very comfortable! But at the price I paid I'd stay again even though the mattress is uncomfortable

Overall renting was great. Some things to consider would be a different keyless entry. The vertical blinds should be replaced with curtains or other type of covering. Housekeeping should do better job on fitted sheet for king in master suite. Thank you!

We walked in and was shocked at how small the property was. Several light bulbs were blown. We had problems with the toilets the whole stay. There was a dead roach in the bathroom floor of the master. Walking into the unit was like a dungeon. Updates need to be made all around the property. The construction site was an eye sore from the balcony. Having to park our third vehicle that far from the condo wasn’t cool.

The place felt clean which is very important. The pools were nice and it was a close walk to the beach. There were plenty of beds which was also nice for our group. A couple of things that I think should be changed would be to go from a single key to a keypad on the door. This was the first time ever having to deal with a single key and it was a nightmare. There was a lockbox on the door but it didn’t work the majority of the time. The lighting is also very poor by the door so it was really hard to see the numbers. The other big drawback was the main elevator (the only elevator that goes to the 3rd floor) kept stalling. The censor is going out and the elevator just wouldn’t move so there several times we couldn’t use it.

Absolutely a perfect stay! Very clean and all necessities provided. Beds, those are to each guests preference. The only issue we had was the balcony sliding door didn't lock. Being on the 3rd floor, didn't seem to tempting for someone to sneak in tho lol but no issues! The kitchen faucet, do not turn on full blast, great pressure lol Love the decor and the view! Very much appreciated the beach chair usage! We will be back for this condo stay! Girls trip ended with great memories!! Thank you for providing a beautiful condo!
