Cheerful 4-bedroom cabin with indoor fireplace

This place was nice but not fantastic. This cabin does not have a dishwasher and that’s not fun when you have to do dishes every meal knowing that we did bring some paper plates, but they were still dishes that need to be cleaned so if your jam is not to dishes this place isn’t for you. All the doors were so squeaky, including the little gate going down the stairs that my husband went out and bought WD-40 to get rid of the squeaky noises. Every time somebody opened one of the doors. The beds had a fitted sheet, but there was no flat sheet on any of them, the beds are very comfortable however, it would be helpful if the owner had a summary sheet of how she wanted things to work, including the fireplace, which did not have any fire starter. We had to go out and buy that as the logs that they had there do not light on their own without it there is no laundry detergent if you wanted to throw in a load of laundry so you’d need to bring that with you. The shower in the master bath upstairs is no larger than a mobile home shower. We’re not big people so it didn’t matter too much but if you’re a large person you would have a tough time showering in that bathroom, there is also no counter space in that bathroom to put anything down, only a very small table, which wouldn’t fit more than one thing like a blow dryer. they could use a better coffee maker to, as the coffee maker did not make coffee very easily, and there were no instructions with it when we finally got it to work the 1st cup of coffee was very strong than the 2nd cup was very weak again the owner should have a manual with some instructions on some of the basic things, there also what were no closing instructions so that was unusual for a VRBO for us. The house next to this VRBO has a Camaro. That is so beat up and should be in a junkyard. Just sitting out in the driveway just gives you a picture of the type of street that it is with houses that are really dilapidated and others that are pretty decent . Overall it is a nice place. However, we probably wouldn’t stay in the future in Crestline just because we like Arriwhead a lot better.

We had a great time! Everything was perfect. My 3yo did manage it get her head stuck in the downstairs outside balcony. I was able to yank it out. After that she stayed inside. The downstairs TV didn't have anything hooked up to it. But we brought our Nintendo switch so the kids used that. Overall, great trip. Just what we needed

We had a nice relaxing stay. Our only concern were the steps between rooms, something to be aware of.

Nice clean house. Plenty of room. We had a wonderful time.
