Beautifully positioned on the sound-front, this home overlooks the private Hatteras wetlands that border the soundside coastline. Here in the Kinnakeet Shores neighborhood, you'll find the perfect spot for nature viewing as you relax at the top of the Carolina Breeze.
Begin on the top level, which offers a kitchen with a brand-new refrigerator, a dishwasher, a Keurig, and an air fryer. This level is partitioned by a breakfast bar and completed with an updated dining set that includes two large bench seats. As an added secret bonus, this dining room table can be converted into both a pool table and a Ping-Pong table by removing the top. Dinner, dessert, family game night - it all happens here!
Down the half-flight central staircase is the main living room with a large TV and a minibar. The massive windows, from floor to ceiling, capture a picture-perfect view overlooking the sound and incredible sunsets.
One floor below, on the main level, you'll find a brand-new washer/dryer, a queen bedroom, and a dual-pyramid bedroom. Down on the lower level is a uniquely laid-out primary suite that includes a king bed, an additional double bed, a jetted tub, and a subdivided bathroom space. The entire home has gone through recent renovations, including a newly painted interior, a new HVAC and plumbing system, and new Adirondack deck chairs.
Outside, the ground level features a brand-new gas grill and an outdoor shower. At the end of the street is an untamed nature walkway that leads you directly to the sound. Take an evening stroll to view the sunset or, in the opposite direction, a morning walk to the beach along the community walkway. This home also includes access to the Kinnakeet Shores Pool and Tennis.

Overall the stay was nice. The house is beautiful! The cleaning staff could have done a better job prior to our arrival but I always bring cleaning supplies so I was able to clean the bathrooms, the dust off of the bed posts and the kitchen counters. The air fryer was filthy so maybe that can be on the check off list in the future to make sure that is clean. Also there was food in freezer from previous guests, unsure how far back. It was only ice cream but maybe that can also be on checkout list whilst cleaning. I left it in the freezer so maybe it can be removed before next guests arrive. I loved the location of the house which gave us 100% privacy. When we vacation there again this house will definitely be my choice to stay again.

This home was gorgeous.
Pros: this home is very nice, spacious, and private which was a huge plus for us. The views were amazing. 10/10 sunset views over the sound. We were in awe. Beds were comfortable and over all we were satisfied with it.
Cons: we did notice a few things that need improvement. I always bring my dog on trips with me. He only weighs five pounds so he doesn’t need a whole lot or make a lot of mess. And as a pet owner I am fully aware that the pet friendly homes I rent will have obvious signs of other pets having stayed there. Which is expected. However, they should rip out the carpet in this home. It’s very stained and tore up in a few places. And I believe a cat stayed in the house recently because there was a very strong cat urine smell on the second level of the home. This didn’t totally ruin our experience, however it was unpleasant. Honestly if they just took the carpet out it would help so much. And there are a lot of stairs, the main living shared area of the house is on the top floor which was a challenge for my 65 yo mother so that’s something others might need to be aware of.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay. And i personally would recommend it to anyone who has pets and doesn’t mind the carpet just for the views alone.

We have stayed in much better prepped houses. This one had sparse cookware, and the home layout was odd. Great house if you are just needing a shower and a place to sleep.
