About this house rental
Enjoy the mountains and beautiful Lake Nottely any time of year. Just a short drive to Blue Ridge, hiking on the Appalachian Trail and visiting Vogel State Park and Brasstown Bald. Shop for mountain crafts and delicacies at our local shops.
Enjoy a large main floor great room with a large sectional, a wood burning fireplace and a Roku TV for streaming your favorite shows. The main floor features a spacious kitchen fully stocked with all of your cooking needs as well as a dining table for 10. Additional seating outside on the large covered deck with a stunning view of the lake offers a grill and patio table and chairs, the perfect place for outdoor eating! The large backyard leads down a gentle slope to the cove where we have a private dock on the lake and kayaks for your paddling pleasure. There is even a fire pit where you can relax, roast marshmallows and enjoy the stars at night!
The downstairs features a large game room with pool table, and foosball and air hockey; bar area, and another family room to gather and stream movies.
This home is the perfect place for large groups, families or friends to gather! The perfect place for family Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations!
MAIN FLOOR:
1 Master Bedroom: Queen bed
The main floor Master suite has a Roku TV, and a spacious full adjoining bath, walk in shower and garden tub.
2 Bedroom:
The main floor also has a queen bedroom with a full bath just across the hall with Roku tv
3 Bedroom:
The third spacious bedroom includes a full and a twin trundle bed and Roku tv.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all the equipment needed to cook for large family gatherings.
GROUND LEVEL:
4 Bedroom:
This bedroom has 2 sets of Bunkbeds and is right next to the game room with an air hockey table, foosball and pool table
5 bedroom:
This cozy bedroom, with lake views has a queen bed and an adjoining bathroom and features a Roku tv
There is an additional TV in the lower level family room and a small bar on the for hanging out while playing games

THINGS TO NOTE: Lake Nottely is a TVA "working lake" and they do a major draw-down every year, usually right after Labor Day. Our cove goes away until next season. That means boating and fishing will not be available from the dock from mid-September through the end of April. There is still plenty of water in the lake, but the dock is unusable then. Nancy was wonderful. My family and I were stranded in Helen due to an overbooking by VRBO. Nancy did everything she could to get us out of a hotel and into the Lake Nottely home. The home was just like the description.

This cottage was very clean and well kept also nice and warm! Nancy was very responsive when we needed something it was a very nice stay visiting our family in the area.

The house was great, well stocked, very clean, the property manager was an absolute treasure to work with. The neighbors were very nice, it was very peaceful. The water in the lake was down but we were still able to go kayaking and spend time as a family. It was absolutely fabulous

Great location, loads of fun for 4th of July. Lots of space to spread out and had everything we needed for a fun holiday!
