About this house rental
If you like farm life or want to get out of the city, we would love to have you! Amazing sunsets and sunrises and 31 acres to roam or just sit by the fire and see the stars. It's a great place to read, picnic, feed the chickens and ducks or take a catnap. If you enjoy hearing rain on a tin roof, you will love the guest barn.
About 375sqft of coziness! The living area has full size leather sofa is great for stretching out and watching movies on the 55" Samsung Smart TV. The leather chair is super comfy and great for reading or just gazing out the window looking at the property. The electric fireplace keeps the guesthouse warm and cozy. The kitchen area has a coffee pot, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven and hot plate. There is a dining bar for eating. The bedroom has a queen size pillow top mattress and lamps with usb chargers.
We are in the country. 5 miles to the grocery and Woodbury. 20 miles to Murfreesboro. 1 hour-ish to Nashville depending where you are going. If you are needing extra room we have a tiny guestsuite that backs to this suite.great place for family reunions, or couples getaway. We are a working farm. You may see a critter or bug around. The ground can be uneven or have random holes if you venture out into the fields. We enjoy having dogs and welcome well behaved fur babies! Let us know more about your dog when reserving.
Side note - The kitchen oven does not work. However, the toaster oven has a bake and broil setting and will fit a personal size pizza.

Everything about our stay was perfect. We were given detailed directions to ensure easy arrival. Our host let us know about impending storms, which we just barely beat. We arrived to a clean, as described unit. We rented to visit local family and attend a wedding. The space was more than adequate for me and my husband. We listened to the rain hit the roof, which was a favorite for both of us. We were centrally located between the wedding and family, as well as make a trip easily into Murfreesboro. We ate local food in Woodbury which is always favorite. Slept well each night and enjoyed the views around the property. We hope to utilize the space again in the future.

My hosts were so gracious to accommodate me for an overnight stay during a move from one small farm to the next. I have a livestock guardian dog and finding a place where she would be comfortable to stay overnight was challenging. It was absolutely charming and the smell of cedar was pretty soothing after many hours of driving. Everything was very rustic and comfortable and a welcome relief!They were very attentive to us, and I highly recommend this tucked away gem!

Very lovely stay with Glenda, she was the hostess with the mostess. Very kind and welcoming. Bed was very comfortable and our dog really appreciated being able to run around a little. Glenda accommodated our son joining us for a night with bedding for the couch.

I am struggling to write a review because I was taught if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. It has been a few weeks since my stay and I feel like I need to give a review. This unit is all part of one giant workshop. We were there for 3 nights and only had two towels and two washcloths. The A/C is a window unit that cannot be on if you are sitting on the couch. The bed is at the back of the unit, so getting sufficient air was difficult. There are ceiling fans and 1 oscillating fan, but they were covered in dust. The top of the refrigerator, which is eye height, was also covered in dust. The queen size mattress needs an update. It sinks in the middle. I ended up sleeping on the couch all 3 nights, which meant I had to turn the A/C off. There were two ice trays in the freezer. One which was broken in half and the other as soon as I tried to get ice, started breaking. The step on garbage can was broken, with the broken piece laying in the floor next to it. There was a door connecting the unit to the workshop, that has a large gap all the way around it. One of the biggest issues is the shower does not drain properly, so you are standing in several inches of bath water as you are trying to shower. I honestly do not know how this place passes inspection. If we had other options, we would have asked for a refund and gone somewhere else. We were there only to sleep and knew we would never return.
