About this house rental
Newly renovated home in heart of downtown Joshua Tree and less than 8 minutes from the Joshua Tree National Park entrance.
Enjoy the crisp air and quiet evenings while you relax in the fully fenced, outdoor space that includes a hot tub, hammocks, a fire pit, and a lovely outdoor dining area.
Each room comes with a queen size memory foam mattresses and the master bedroom has a futon as well. The master bedroom also comes with a workstation with a desk, chair and Hi-Speed internet which makes for a perfect work-cation. The living room comes with a SmartTV and a basket of games for an evening full of fun.
Inside the kitchen, you'll find all the silverware, pots, pans, and plates you need to pretend like you’re going to cook yourself dinner from scratch! It also comes with a new Keurig coffee machine.
While in the backyard, you can lounge in the hammocks, sit by the fire, enjoy a nice dinner under the beautiful stars of Joshua Tree or relax for the evening in our hot tub. A brand new charcoal BBQ is in the backyard and it comes with some BBQ accessories, but please bring your own charcoal.
Looking for some friendly competition? Step into the garage for a fun game of ping pong or play some darts.
Parking: You can fit 2 or maybe 3 cars in the driveway. You can also park on the street in front of our house
Entry: There is a keypad located at the front door for easy keyless entry. The entry code will be provided to you 48 hours before arrival. The code is updated after every guest departs.
Internet: The house has reliable high-speed internet that I have tested from the numerous meetings I have taken from Casa Azul.
Coffee & Tea: We have an assorted arrangement of teas for you to choose from and Keurig coffee machine has two different flavors: Summit Roast and The Original Donut Shop Coffee (regular).
Fire Pit: We have a fire pit out back and ask everyone to please bring their own wood if you plan to use it.
Security: A Ring Flood Light security camera is located near the front door for your security. No cameras are located inside the property.
Pets - This property is pet-friendly, we allow well-behaved dogs under 40lbs, no more than 2 at a time, We do not allow pets on furniture or in the bedrooms, as a precaution to help keep the home clean for future guests. SORRY NO CATS ALLOWED
The yard is FULLY fenced and very safe, BUT, this is the desert, and there are many wild animals roaming around their natural habitat, as such, it is very important to keep a close eye on your furry loved ones at all times!
Please disclose if you will be bringing your furry friends with you.

Excellent communication with the host, any questions we had were immediately answered helpfully and kindly! Lee also offered us an early Che k in as they hadn’t had a guest the night before, which was very helpful for our group. Fabulous hot tub (always a priority when we book!) and cozy home :)

Casa Azul had everything we needed! The ping pong table, darts, and record player were a hit with our 9 and 12 year old. Lee is a wonderful host!

We stayed at the Casa Azul with our 2 fur babies (2 Labradors) and we had a good time. It was spacious enough for the 4 of us, there’s plenty of room for my boys to roam around inside the house, the house is very clean and doesn’t smell weird, the bedrooms are clean, bright, plenty of sunlight, the bathrooms are ok, the water pressure in the showers needs improvement, the garage was converted to a game room, the living room have a smart TV we used and ok seating, the kitchen is clean, have some basic kitchen necessities (plates, silverwares, cups, glasses, pots and pans, cooking utensils, coffee pods, Keurig machine, blender, the refrigerator is tiny! And the dining table is also small. Overall we had a good stay BUT i wish the house is connected to the yard! That is the only annoying part, you have to go around the house from the front door if you want to use the backyard. It was hard for my Labradors to get the concept of putting their leash to go potty (because we never do that at home, they have their own backyard that is accessible from the house) I wish that was disclosed to us when I asked if the backyard was fenced in, it would have been nice to know that its an ordeal to go in the backyard. I will recommend it to family that have older kids and not with toddlers, and any couples or group of friends that wants to explore Joshua tree. It was close to restaurants (house kitchen, sky high pie, the den, and Joshua tree Saloon) and coffee shop (we loved Joshua tree coffee)

Our stay was perfect! The location was ideal for visiting Joshua Tree and there are some great restaurants nearby. We really enjoyed the hot tub and hammocks in the back yard. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Above all, the host was gracious and responsive. Highly recommend!
