Hatteras Island's best seats can be found at On Water's Edge. With virtually no dune, On Water's Edge has prime beach access and completely unobstructed views of the rolling ocean and amazing sunrises.
On living level one, you will find three spacious bedrooms. Bedroom one is a main bedroom with a king bed, private bath, TV, and deck access. Bedroom two has a pyramid bunk. Bedroom three has two singles. A centrally located hall bath and laundry area round out this level. A foosball table are also located on this level which will make for hours of fun. Don't forget about those family game nights. On Water's Edge has multiple board games for your entertainment choices.
At the top of the stairs is the comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated great room. The living room offers plenty of space for everyone to gather around and recount the day's adventures. The fully-equipped kitchen is opened to the living room so the conversation can continue to flow even as the cooks are in the kitchen preparing their specialties. The nearby dining table offers seating for four with an additional four seats available at the breakfast bar.
There is no better way to wake up in the morning than by stepping out onto the oceanfront deck, breathing in the crisp salt air, as you sip your coffee and watch the sun rising out of the Atlantic. A conveniently located full bath and fourth bedroom with queen bed complete this home.
THINGS TO KNOW
We recommend a 4X4 vehicle to access this home. Low-profile vehicles with ground clearance under 5'' may have difficulty getting to the home following periods of heavy wind or rain.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

What a view! Great vacation! Vacasa was wonderful! We had a little trouble with the internet - not anyone’s fault - Vacasa was very responsive and fixed the issue immediately! On Waters Edge was a family favorite! Thanks for a great vacation.

The location was amazing, the house is nice, please make sure housekeeping does it's job right, it was not cleaned well, trash under the bed, the master bed downstairs the sheet cover was dirty, we had to wash, pillow cover in the bedroom upstairs was dirty we had to wash too. Bathrooms were dusty. I did call and let them know, the lady was very nice and said they were going to send someone in to clean but we didn't want no stranger cleaning while we were there. The Fawcett in the bathroom in the hallway downstairs needs to be fixed, only one worked. Other then the cleaning it was nice.

The house was clean upon arrival, we were able to check in a bit early, house was fully stocked w/everything we could have ever wanted!! And the location, OMG!!! So beautiful!! We will defiantly rent from Vacasa again!!! Thank you for a beautiful week!!!

Loved proximity to ocean. Difficult parking despite having a 4x4. Had to park in cul de sac and rescue made us move our car. Washer and dryer did not work and were brand new. Vacasa very difficult to get anyone to house to address this issue. One person who couldn’t even work on them arrived 3 days later then never came back and no laundry for the week. When you are driving long distance with larger group you pack lightly thinking there will be laundry services in the home. This was not the case. None of us anticipated having to leave the home and drive a distance to to go a laundry mat on their vacation. Plus waiting in the home when others were at the beach when someone was supposed to arrive from the rental agency and nobody arrived. Very frustrating. First time we ever rented from Vacasa. Thus far not a good experience.
