The property was luxurious, very clean, and well equipped for a large group. There was kitchenware more than enough for a large group. It was also truly nice to have two ovens, two refrigerators and even two dishwashers at our disposal. It is obvious that a lot of effort was put into this house. However, if you plan to use all 8 bedrooms, just be aware that room #8 is a small room in the garage, and it isn’t as nice as all the others. It also doesn’t have a closet.
It was awesome to learn that the place had a ping-pong table, a treadmill, and an additional TV set in the garage. Our group enjoyed playing there.
We rented the place for a weeklong workshop, rather than to celebrate, so our group was a very quiet one. Still, we kept receiving reminders about a local ordinance prohibiting outdoor noise after 9pm. This was quite ironic, since the property is located right next to the San Gorgonio Pass wind farm, and the noise generated by an on-property windmill was nothing short of deafening, even throughout the night. While the hosts were very responsive and welcoming, we were told there was nothing they could do about the noise. It might have been an unusually windy week, but the strong winds, combined with the noise outdoors, made it impossible to use the beautiful courtyard and pool. At least we enjoyed the spacious living room which is furnished with plenty of seating and a really large TV.
One other thing to note is that we were charged a $268 Booking Fee, payable directly to the property management. This extra fee isn’t included in the property listing. Also, the contract you’d be asked to sign is different from the one on the property listing.
