This quaint beach cottage is just steps away from the white sand of the beautiful Emerald Coast! Guests enjoy the sound of ocean waves and a small ocean view from the master bedroom balcony. The community pool is ten steps away from the back patio.
Welcome to Cap's Cottage, a charming beach cottage just steps away from the white sand of the beautiful Emerald Coast! Immerse yourself in the soothing sound of ocean waves and enjoy a partial view of the turquoise green ocean from the master bedroom balcony. The community pool is conveniently located just ten steps away from the back patio.
At Cap's Cottage, we strive to provide a unique and refreshing experience. Your stay will be enhanced by special touches such as soft 100% natural fiber linens, a down feather comforter, clean duvet cover, down pillows, tasteful decor, and thoughtful details that prioritize your comfort.
The cottage is divided into two separate units, with one unit upstairs and one unit downstairs. Your accommodation includes the upstairs unit, the balcony, the shared entryway equipped with beach towels, chairs, and toys, as well as access to the community pool area.
Inside the unit, you'll find a king-size bed, two built-in bunk beds, and a rollaway cot, allowing up to 5 people to sleep comfortably. The spacious sliding glass doors open up to the large balcony, seamlessly blending the indoor and outdoor spaces. From your balcony, you can enjoy a beautiful partial view of the ocean and overlook the lively pool area, creating a fun and vibrant atmosphere, perfect for families. A large desk with ample lighting is provided for your workspace needs, and a 50-inch wall-mounted TV with cable offers entertainment. High-speed internet is available through WiFi. The unit also includes a small washer and dryer, making laundry a convenient task. While there is no full kitchen in this unit, it is equipped with a small refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. A small dinette allows seating for two, and additional guests can sit and eat at the desk. This cozy space is ideal for a family of 5 or a group of 5 adults looking to enjoy the best beach spot on the Emerald Coast while saving on costs.

Cap’s Cottage is nestled in Crystal Beach - specifically in the “Nantucket Cottages” - a quaint little community of pastel colored beach cottages in Destin, FL. Crystal Beach is truly a picturesque area and one of the most highly sought after areas on the Emerald Coast!
A very short walk (1-2 minutes!) down a pathway right outside the back door takes you to several public beach access points as well as some of the best seafood restaurants on the Emerald Coast.
Destin Commons is walkable and has all of your favorite stores and eateries as well as Whole Foods Market.
Take a short drive to Baytowne Wharf located along the shores of the Choctawhatchee Bay, within the gates of the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. It features
an array of boutiques, eateries, galleries, and nightlife. Be sure to check out their events calendar for your travel dates, as they often have a jam-packed schedule of outdoor festivals and events for the entire family!
Also, be sure to visit the heart of old Destin and the Harborwalk Village adjacent to the picturesque Crab Island. Stroll along the boardwalk of Destin's famous fishing fleet to see of the catch of the day come in!
Spend a day at the world famous Crab Island on the north side of Destin Bridge where pleasure boats gather everyday to enjoy the translucent, waist-high emerald
green waters. This area is kid friendly! If you rent a pontoon, jet ski or kayak, you can join the party of floating restaurants and huge inflated playground.
For a good bargain you can visit Silver Sands Outlet Mall just down the street!
Be sure and check out Lulu's at the foot of the Mid-Bay Bridge. Lulu is Jimmy Buffet's sister, and she has created a veritable playground for children and adults alike. Southern fare at it's best! Huge Indoor/outdoor restaurant, large sandy area on the bay with rental SUPs and kayaks, seaplane rides, kids face painting and more!

- This unit does not have a full kitchen. It is equipped with a small refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. However, there are no cooking facilities available.
- We also host guests in the downstairs unit, and each unit has its own coded entry for complete privacy.
- The unit is limited to a maximum of 5 guests at any given time, in compliance with local occupancy laws. If you already have 5 people on your reservation, additional guests are not allowed to visit or stay overnight.
- Both the upstairs and downstairs units are dog-friendly, with a maximum of one dog unless prior approval has been granted. Dogs must be house trained, and puppies are not allowed. Excessive barking or whining is discouraged, and please clean up after your pet if they shed or have accidents. Any additional cleaning or damage caused by dogs may result in a resolutions case being opened with Airbnb to cover the costs.
- If there are people in the entryway, please wait until it is clear to pass with your dog. Also, remember to clean up after your pet to comply with our strict HOA regulations to avoid fines for leaving pet waste outside.

This is our second stay at Nantucket Cottages, we love the location. We enjoyed the beach chairs and pool noodles provided. Our unit had a washer and dryer and was very convenient. It is close to the shopping center that has food, bowling, and even a movie theater. I would highly recommend this condo.

Me and my family, which includes a small dog, enjoyed our stay at Cap's Cottage!! It was just the perfect loft within walking distance to the beach and driving distance to all the main attractions that Destin has to offer. The neighborhood is very clean and quiet and our neighbors in the surrounding cottages were very friendly! We saw lots of other dogs so they are very Pet Friendly. We loved it, it was clean and just big enough to hold my family. There is no full kitchen, but the room has a small fridge, microwave, and keurig. Although the room comes with some of their own utensils, we brought some of our own paper/plastic utensils, food and some extra toiletries just incase. Because it's in an area that is not walking distance to a store. So you want to come prepared with whatever you need if you just want to hangout at the beach or near their cute pool area! Everything worked out perfectly!! Highly recommend!! And our dog loved it too!!

The location was very nice. But the fact that the room didn’t have any kind of kitchen kind of sucked. no
Plates, bowls or silverware, even if we brought food back. it was very difficult to be able to eat it without any kind of utensils. Also, if you’re only going provide a microwave, you really should provide some kind of ability to at least warm up some thing in the microwave. Like a microwave dish.
