Welcome to the Wind in the Willow, a beautiful canal-front home in tranquil Brigand's Bay and situated on a beautiful property. Shade trees, flower gardens, and nature abounds with birds singing and fish jumping. You'll have a 40-foot boat dock, a fish-cleaning station on one end, and access steps to the water on the other end. This home features a bench in the shade of a willow tree for relaxing, plus access out to the Pamlico Sound. Beautiful oversized yard for all kinds of outdoor fun.
Your group will love this home, and after a great day on the water, you can relax and enjoy the wonderful views. Unwind after a long day at the beach on one of the three outdoor decks. The main level has a large screened porch and open sundeck. The second-floor deck is shaded and open to the canal front with great views. The private front porch is great for that first-morning coffee. Enjoy a fresh fig from the fig tree in season. Have a great time in the third-floor game room with open sound views. Featuring a full-size Ping-Pong table, pop-a-shot, board games, toys, and books. For evenings on the Observation Deck, enjoy a breathtaking view of the stars in the Hatteras Sky.
The first guest bedroom is a primary with a queen bed and is located on the main level, for those who may need easier access. Located on the second level, is another primary bedroom with a king bed. The second guest bedroom has a single bed and a bunk bed. The second-floor guest loft has a full-size futon. There is a third-floor bedroom with a king bed. All bedrooms have access to a full bath. Brigand's Bay is a family community providing a great place for kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, fishing, crabbing, bike rides, and so much more.

All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

This house was spotless when we checked in. Kitchen was fully stocked, too. Nice shady lot, on a canal. We enjoyed our stay.

This house, being in a community, is a great location to relax and unwind. We had a great time relaxing on the dock and catching fish. The house has plenty of space for everyone. The only negative for this home would be the steps. Having to haul your gear up all the flights of steps could be daunting for some after a long drive. The management company was really responsive on a couple of things we had concerns with, so besides the steps, the house is a great place to stay.

Love all the decks and seating areas. The bonus areas with seating and games are great. Quiet neighborhood and lovely views.

We loved the gas range, the kitchen was well appointed. The top deck is off limits to guests, that was disappointing. We were expecting to be able to access it.
