The Moon Palace had plenty of room (we had 15 people)for everyone. Walking distance to the beach and great pool. Everyone had a great vacation!!

Moon Palace was a delight. While the cleaning left something to be desired, the home itself had everything we needed for our first time visiting the Outer Banks. We were not familiar with the area but grew to love the quiet nature of Salvo as we ventured out to more touristy towns. It was a nice little oasis to come back to. This home does have a LOT of stairs so beware if you are traveling with anyone who does not do well taking multiples trips up and down. The photos made the beach walk look very far away, but we were pleasantly surprised it’s really not that far at all. Wide beach, pretty setting, and nice ocean views from the living area when it was too windy to be outside.

What we loved most about the house:
- Location, we went off season and the beach was not crowded at all. We joked that the walk to the beach was a little longer than it looks.
- Kitchen was well stocked with every type of tool or equipment that you might need.
- Elevator was a nice plus that helped with unloading and loading the vehicles at arrival and departure.
- Previous recent comments mentioned cleaning issues that we didn't see or encounter. A couple of the bathrooms just appears that they might need some new grout but those were clean.
Opportunity for house:
- Small TV in the living space, which made Saturday college football watching a challenge. The TV was also a bit of challenge to get to work properly initially.
- The beach house is good, but it needs a little refresh in general. Let me be clear that everything is functional but it's just showing signs of wear and tear.
Overall, our stay was good from booking to check out. The house met our basic expectations for our first stay at OBX.
