Welcome to the Makana Nui, located on the famous Weke Road in Hanalei. This home sits directly on the beach and is just a short walk through your private lawn to the sand. The picturesque Hanalei coastline remains relatively undeveloped and provides breathtaking views from every angle, a true definition of paradise!
Surrounded by a beautifully manicured landscape full of greenery and tropical foliage, this property offers guests their own slice of paradise. This home features a spacious lanai including a variety of comfortable lounging and dining areas with postcard-worthy ocean and mountain views. The locations and home couldn’t have been better. We had an unforgettable vacation and can’t wait to return. The home was well stocked and had everything we needed (we cooked almost every meal in the home). Enjoyed walking into to town everyday, enjoyed fishing, hiking and helicopter excursions when we did break away from the beach. Home was very clean and well stocked.

Overall, I had mixed feelings about my stay. The location was wonderful. It couldn’t have been better – close to the beach open private and well maintained. The house was nice and quaint and very clean. My only issue was that the property is advertised with air-conditioning. There’s only air-conditioning in the bedrooms and that did not work very well. The rooms really didn’t cool much until late in the evening. There was no air-conditioning in the main living area and kitchen, which made staying in there from about 2 PM to about 8 PM uncomfortable the property and location is beautiful and would’ve been a perfect hand if the AC covered the entire house and worked better.
