Property exceeded expectations. It was clean, well stocked, and the little extras like welcoming card and gifts were a really nice touch.

Very nice cabin and a good location on the fighting town creek. There are some issues that should be addressed in the back with water run off that made seating areas quite muddy and unusable, plus the upstairs HVAC system was out for 2 nights. The second night was due to us getting in around 7pm and realizing the temp was not improving, then a delayed response from management until the next morning, but they did send someone out to install window units and it became manageable. It’s a shame as the cabin is quite nice with a good location and an excellent game room.

Where do I begin - For starters, cabin was not clean. The room I stayed in had dust on the bedside tables to where you could write/draw in it. Also, on the front porch and main foyer runner had what appeared to be glitter everywhere. Booked a week stay and some of the provided amenities were definitely not enough for a week stay. Also disappointed in the fact the cabin boasts the fire pit down by the river yet they do not supply any firewood. Called and was told it’s provided by the guests and I could pay 130 for firewood to delivered and placed close to the fire pit or buy bundles at the store. Vacation mode was in so we paid for the 130 option. Firewood delivered was wet and placed nowhere close to the fire pit. Lastly, there’s cabins directly to the right and left of the lodge. Heads up, the cabin to the right is under construction. So definitely not a relaxing time due to the pounding of hammers, saws, and timber/lumber being dropped. Let down with our stay at Blue Ridge this year to say the least.
