The Jailhouse Loft-<br>Ski/bike/fish studio 2 blocks from historic Philipsburg

We loved this charming little loft during our recent trip to Philipsburg. It fit our little family of 4 perfectly. My only concern was for my three year old to try to go downstairs by himself, but I blocked the entrance with our bags. The place was clean, the beds were comfortable, and we loved all the options for entertainment. If we’re ever back, I plan to stay there again and I’ll definitely recommend the place to friends and family wishing to make the same trip west.

Loved this space so quick and convenient in Phillipsburg! Cozy and all the necessities. Here to work for a wedding just need a quick stop over.The yard is just a little steep to get to the entrance it’d be easier to enter from the lower alley gallery spot. Also the beds were a bit stiff, a new mattress would go a long way! Over all very welcoming and comfortable!

The loft was clean and cozy. It had a great vibe.

Property address is not accurate, should be listed 321A so you know that it is on the back of the primary home. Brick steps to backyard were not cemented on and some were crumbling. The yard had different piles of debris, possibly to be used in art projects. There is a chicken coop with 6 or 7 chickens. One of the chickens got loose & our dog killed it. All in all it was a traumatic event and we did not stay the 2nd night. John & Kathryn are very nice hosts but we would have not stayed with our 9 year old dog had we known there was a chicken coop on the premise.
