lack of facilities. took a room that had washing machine but was later told I was upgraded to a studio which was not really an upgrade facilities like towels and stuff had to be asked to provide door was jammed when we first arrived at midnight and there was no one from the property to help . not even message or answer a call. had a long transit and this was not the welcome we expected in a foreign country deposit requirement we were aware of but was under the impression that we can pay in cash after we go. however on the day of traveling during Ramadan where all banks had closed we were asked to make online transfer and only upon confirmation would the keys be provided. i do appreciate that later after going this was exempted after a failed transaction. all this created unnecessary hassle and stress . in booking .com it should indicate if only online transactions are accepted. and if not inform in advance as different working hours and days are practiced in different countries
