Well furnished, very comfortable bed.
A little cool on arrival as one night storage heater not working. However there was an oil filled radiator which soon got us cosy.

Great location. Next door to good pub selling food. 1 mile from the sea. 7 miles to supermarket, shops.
Quiet spot. Good base for walks.
Beds comfy.
Wrong access code sent to us. We had to contact the emergency number on arrival as we couldn't get in.
No instructions on how to operate heaters.

The cottage is in a perfect place to visit both north and south area of Northumberland. Also 20 yards from Cottage Inn where food and service is excellent. The cottage contained everything we needed and would definitely return.

Location near the pub and near Craster and Howick Hall
The bed is positioned below the eaves and my husband, being partially sighted kept banging his head. The link between Cottages.com and booking.com clearly doesn’t work, and emails never arrived meaning that we couldn’t access the key to the cottage. With no phone signal around the cottage, and the owners on holiday with no signal, it was difficult to get access. We did, after a while, get access, however. I would suggest booking this through cottages.com to make your arrival much smoother.
