Studio Cala bona

The view was extraordinary. Loved seeing the bay at Cadaques. I liked the location.

Air conditioner did not work to change the temperature in the room. I am sure this is not an issue most of the year. Our stay temps were hot and the room did not cool down. The noise did not bother us but be prepared for it.

The view!!! As soon as we stepped into the studio we could see a beautiful 180 degree view of the beach and the curving bay, the boats anchored offshore, people enjoying the water and promenading along the shore. We loved the balcony and the opportunity to linger there over our morning coffee and evening apéros. Cadaques is a beautiful town, full of interesting quirky corners to explore and the apartment is in the perfect location, right on the beach front, as well as being walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Our hostess was very friendly and welcoming and we were able to access the apartment earlier than expected. We would definitely stay here again.

The only downside was that there wasn’t a proper bathroom, the shower and toilet were really like cupboards in the main room. It worked okay but there was often a musty stale drain smell in the shower if the door was left closed.

La ubicación era perfecta, pero sin duda destacaría las vistas desde el balcón, ¡de ensueño! Era increíble poder desayunar y cenar con esas vistas. Todo lo demás también fue perfecto: el apartamento en si estaba muy bien, muy completo, con todo detalle, no nos faltó de nada. Y la anfitriona, Marine, muy simpática y atenta a todo.

Nos gustó todo.
