The hotel is conveniently located. Even for my 88-year-old grandmother, who uses a rollator, the walk to Europa Therme takes less than 10 minutes. There is a beautiful park across the street, and the main road out of town is also nearby. The mattress was comfortable, and we slept well and stayed warm. We particularly appreciated the parking directly in front of the hotel. There is no need to navigate a narrow garage or walk a long distance to reach your car. There were quite a few pets staying at the hotel, which could be a great advantage for pet owners. The staff were friendly, accommodating, easy to communicate with, and spoke good English. Without a doubt, the biggest advantage is the affordable price.

The most frustrating issue was the lack of a ramp. Although there is an elevator inside the hotel, the main entrance has two flights of stairs, and there is no way to reach the lobby without climbing them. This makes the hotel practically inaccessible to wheelchair users and very difficult to enter with a stroller or heavy luggage. My 88-year-old grandmother, who uses a rollator, struggled considerably with these stairs, especially since the handrail on one of them was loose and wobbly. The hotel offers reasonable value for its price, so I wouldn't expect luxurious furnishings or perfectly maintained interiors. However, I think it's only fair to mention the negatives just as honestly as the positives. Light bulbs were missing from about half of the fixtures. The only mirror was in the bathroom, so there was no way to see yourself from head to toe anywhere in the room. A baseboard was coming off the walls, the bathroom sink was cracked, and the showerhead was faulty. The flooring in the bathroom was uneven, causing the bathroom door to scrape against it, while the entrance door kept getting stuck in its warped frame. The bedroom textiles were so worn from repeated washing that they had holes in them. One particularly concerning issue was a dining chair that I nearly fell off because the screws holding its legs were almost completely loose. I had to tighten them. I sincerely hope that my request to check the chairs in the other rooms was taken seriously, so that elderly or more vulnerable guests are no longer at risk of falling.
