Everything was perfect

We had a very enjoyable stay in Bari. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the city on foot and enjoy the waterfront, the old town, and the surrounding area. The room was tastefully decorated, comfortable, and featured a lovely view from a private balcony, which was a particularly nice touch. Although there was no formal breakfast service, the minibar was generously stocked and complimentary, and a selection of snacks, biscuits, and spreads was provided in the room. We appreciated this thoughtful approach and felt well taken care of. Overall, a comfortable and welcoming place in an excellent location, and one we would happily recommend.

The elevator was quite unique and may surprise some guests, but it was part of the character of the building.

The room itself was clean and decently sized by European standards. The drinks and snacks were replenished each day and free of charge. That beats even the most expensive 5-star hotels! The shower had good water pressure and remained warm through multiple people showering. The bathrooms smelled clean with all its fixtures and fittings well maintained. There was no closet. The bed was on the softer side; side sleepers will find it comfortable whilst back sleepers may struggle or, if you're older, may wake up with sore hips. Our room came with a small balcony but the view wasn't much to write about just overlooking the rear of other buildings.

This is not a hotel!! There is no reception! All instructions were delivered via WhatsApp and there was no phone number to call. Multiple times we tried the number given in the WhatsApp message but no one ever answered. False advertising. That said, the person on the WhatsApp did answer out queries in a reasonable timeframe – typically a few minutes. If you're like us though and want a real person there to talk to, avoid this place. The lift broke down twice whilst we were there resulting in us having to lug our bags up SEVEN FLIGHTS of stairs. There was a resident in the building that had a large dog and when they took the lift there was no space for anyone else. In essence then, expect to take seven (7) flights of stairs in your normal day-to-day and hope the lift works on the days you check-in and check-out. The building itself is ... fine. I wouldn't say it's as outdated as other reviews suggest. That said, the lift needs to be replaced. Ideally it would've been built larger. Two carry-on bags and two people is its absolute max capacity.
