Nice and relaxing

Unfortunately the mattress in the main bed was very lumpy and perhaps a spring had gone-I did report it the following morning

Great stay at this lovely warm, beautiful and cosy lodge.

The property boasts an excellent location, so peaceful and within a close enough drive to Berwick to access any shopping if needed. The property really gave us a true homely and festive feel, in appearance and feel. The property was super cosy and warm with all underfloor heating and remained warm throughout even when it was consistently cold outside. The hosts were very helpful allowing an early check in, offering their phone numbers incase they were needed at any point and also providing a helpful folder with all necessary information in for our stay. The lodge was really clean and fresh , our stay was perfect I’d definitely stay here again! And recommend it to anyone wanting a nice quiet homely getaway.

We loved the high standard of the property, the quality and the attention to detail. It felt like home from home, and so peaceful. We loved to hot tub, and how private the cabin felt. Owners were very attentive

This is a great get away from it all luxury log cabin - perfectly placed for Berwick/Holy Island/Edinburgh - east coast of Scotland adventure.

A fabulous stay with friends

The log cabin was simply stunning. It had great character. The kitchen was very well equipped. The bedrooms had great storage and the bathrooms....wow!

I didn't particularly like the hot tub. I prefer a jacuzzi style one which I believe the other lodges have. I also didn't like the fact that there were tablets on the bottom of it which we didn't notice until we had been in its presumably chemical tablets? A slight disappointment was that I messaged the owners as it was my partners birthday. They agreed to put a helium balloon and banner in the cabin ahead of our arrival which did not happen. There were some flowers on the table. perhaps this was the reason?

Beautiful, comfy and spacious accommodation in a great location.

Beautiful lodge, spacious rooms, comfy bed, large veranda and garden with plenty outdoor seating options. Shops close by in Berwick-upon-Tweed and only 30 mins to the spectacular Bamburgh beach.

Nothing, it was fab! Would just say to dog owners (and it’s a lovely place to take your dog 🥰) that the garden isn’t enclosed so if your four legged buddy is a wanderer maybe take a long lead.

The cabin feels very cozy with the wooden interior and hotub on thd decking. The luxury looking furniture and bathrooms are lovely

It wasn't very clean. Floors were very dirty and cobwebs everywhere, it all looks a bit worn and rundown which is fine but not 'luxury' as it is described.

This is definitely my favourite place to stay. Beautiful surroundings and all you can hear are the birds and the bees. Just perfect! Even had the pleasure of several visits from hares! The cabin is just beautiful, cosy and also comfy! Would highly recommend! Thank you

The lodge was so much more than we imagined.stummimg views beautiful. Loved the fact we were in a private location just amazing..

Our expectations on arrival was alittle dampened as we thought a welcome basket would of been nice. Only other thing Swedish Hottub wasn't our thing.We expected hottub also decking was alittle dangerous around area.other than those we had a great time.

Very luxurious skandinavian style chalet in peaceful nature setting.

This attractive wooden chalet was very spacious and beautifully decorated. We immediately had a cosy and homely feeling. We liked the skandinavian style very much. Around the chalet we experienced a peaceful nature feeling with birds and hares at the lawn in the morning. And of course the chalet at her self was very luxurious and comfortable in all meanings. The friendly hosts had done everything possible to make our stay pleasant and beautiful.

Stunning location and property. Owners have clearly put in a lot of effort to create a luxurious stay. They made us feel welcome and comfortable. Perfect for a getaway to put your feet up for a while and recharge.

Only minor issue was the mattress. Far too soft for our liking but that may be personal preference! Aside from that, cannot fault the place!
