⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | An Absolute Gem in Paradise! I cannot recommend Agoho Resort enough! From start to finish, our stay was nothing short of perfection. Here is why this place needs to be on your bucket list: • Breathtaking Location: The views are simply stunning. Whether you’re waking up to the sunrise or watching the colors change at dusk, the scenery is a 10/10. • Impeccable Property: You can tell the owners take immense pride in their resort. The grounds are beautiful, lush, and—most importantly—spotlessly clean and well-maintained. • Top-Tier Dining: The kitchen service is fantastic. Do yourself a favor and order the burger—it was legitimately awesome and easily one of the best I’ve ever had! • Warm Hospitality: What truly sets this place apart is the people. The staff and owners are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to assist with anything you might need. You feel truly supported and welcomed from the moment you arrive. If you’re looking for a beautiful, relaxing getaway with great food and even better service, this is the place to be. We can’t wait to come back!

Great stay!

Staff were exceptionally friendly and did anything requested of them promptly and with a smile. The air conditioning was very strong.

Unfortunately it felt like the hotel is operating to maximise profits which as a business is all well and good but not when it comes at the expense of the customer. For a hotel that is billed as being 4 stars, I expected a lot more. For example, we were told to turn off the air con when we leave our room to save energy so they don't have to put their prices up - as someone not accustomed to Filipino heat, not being able to come back to a cold room isn't great. Also basic amenities such as shampoo were not provided and even water came at a cost. There wasn't even a mirror in the bedroom and the light was so dim sometimes you had to use a torch to see what you were doing. The staff did help us a lot but in ways they really shouldn't have had to. For example we really struggled sleeping in the bed due to both a super powerful AC and bedsheets which were paper thin. We also had just one pillow each which felt like airbags when you rested your head on them. Fortunately we were given a blanket and two additional pillows (which were much better) to help though it was still a struggle. Breakfast was the bare minimum with even things such as an extra coffee being chargeable. At 150 pesos however, it is fair. I can only rate this as a 5 when considering it is supposedly 4 stars it has the facilities or a 2 star hotel at best. Please look for other ways to save money and put guest comfort first.
