Casa Kiki Apartments

Carmen (the hostess) was really nice to us and helped us through recommendations for cultural, historical and local spots to visit! We had an absolutely amazing stay, the apartment might not be in the center of Rovinj but walking will be ~20-25 min and we were able to borrow bikes and a lock from Carmen which allows you to be at any beach in Rovinj (for example Pulci) in ~10-15 minutes (check with her if you can borrow the bikes of course!) without having to worry about parking and you can bike up on the non-car roads. Carmen was very attentive (responds fast, asked us if we're enjoying the stay) and helped us with laundry and when we heard a mysterious beep in the apartment she helped us look for the source of the sound, turned out it was one of our own devices making a sound similar to the AC control, sorry Carmen for the inconvenience! Air conditioning worked well, the kitchen was fully equipped, cleaning supplies were present and everything was very clean. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to visit! Practical information: the building consists of multiple apartments spread across 3 floors so the pictures are a collection from various of the apartments in the building, they sometimes have different facilities (ours for example did not have dishwasher or washing machine inside while others do but it did have an additional bed, we chose it in consultation with Carmen). Parking is free and in front (2 paved spaces) or in the garden. As the front is NW facing the car is in the shade in the morning :) Rovinj in general is a quaint village with a lot of history (used to be an island) and offers historical city views, it has really good beaches in the forest park SW of the apartment (5-15 min biking depending on where you go).
