Location was excellent and room was spotless with a great bed . Staff were efficient but could be a little “warmer”
Carpet wasn’t great and pity there is no swimming pool .

Right in the centre of Santander, next to everything and just off the main sea promenade. The building is beautifully preserved and historic. An absolutely gorgeous high end boutique hotel.

The hotel is in a great location
The garbage bin in our room was broken, and the window would not close properly, so we had to put a pillow against it to stop the cold air from coming in. We reported this to reception, but were told there was nothing they could do.
There were also maintenance issues in the bathroom, as the shower seal was not glued properly. Overall, the property definitely needs more attention and upkeep.
Unfortunately, the reception staff were not very friendly either. We asked for an extra blanket because we were cold, but were told they did not have one and that the room temperature was fine.
