Fantastic place for a short break in Locarno

Esmeralda was a fabulous host. Greets you with a smile and takes you through all the check in process. The appartment is huge in anyone's standards The veiw from the balcony was breathtaking

Fabulous views, perfect location

Fabulous view and well laid out apartment. My mum and I had a lovely 2 nights with breakfast and dinner spent on the balcony watching the world go by and enjoying the view. Location is perfect too, close to the station and the ferry as well as the old town. We were on the 6th floor and while we could hear the traffic noise it didn't disturb our enjoyment at all.

Everything was wonderful, the only small criticism is the frosted siding doors on the twin bed room meant it was hard to keep it dark in there - as soon as anyone turned a light on in the living area the bedroom was lit up too. Not a big problem for us though.

Best view, best comfort in Locarno

Very comfortable, fantastic view, right in the center and walking distance from everything. It was very clean and I’m very picky! Everything on the apartment was very well care for, not old looking and crabby. There was only one door of a cupboard in the kitchen that needed some fixing otherwise all great. There was an iron, a hair-dryer even a little step for our smaller daughter to use. kitchen was complete with everything and in good condition where you didn’t feel disgusted to use the appliances. Nothing negative to see. We will definitely come back.

Beautiful views and everything you need for a long or short stay in Locarno

The location was amazing, the view from the apartment was jaw dropping. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Everything was walking distance and there were many restaurants all around. Communication with the property managers was quick and easy. They have free parking in the garage, which was important for us. I highly recommend this place, especially for a family

Great location and really amazing view. Large apartment, very clean, comfortable, well-appointed with everything we could need. Nice, safe building. Easy check-in/check-out. Big balcony.

Small issues only: there was no way to turn on the showerhead in the bathtub. Not a big deal as we could take baths or use the shower in the other bathroom, but it was odd to have a showerhead with no way to direct water to it. The fridge door had a tendency to stay cracked open.

Exceptional

The apartment is exceptional, especially for families with kids. The lake view is breathtaking, the kids loved the balcony. The location is central, and everything (in Locarno) is within walking distance.

The parking is very uncomfortable due to the narrow parking spaces (per car) and narrow common way. That being said, do note 1. Parking is on-premise. 2. A designated spot is assigned to you. 3. Most parking spaces are empty (which helps to get in and out). 4. It is free. So this is a minor nuisance.

Fantastic location and amazing accommodation

We had a lovely extended weekend in Locarno, and our stay at Residenza Vivian could not have been a better experience. Extremely comfy and clean apartment, with many amenities and a breathtaking view of Lago Maggiore. The location is perfect, right next to the lake at the very heart of Locarno. The hosts are simply fantastic - everything was well organized and super easy, just the way one wants it to be when on vacation. Strongly recommended!

Moderne grosse Wohnung, hochwertig eingerichtet, bequeme Betten, Küche recht gut ausgestattet mit Kaffeemaschine Nespresso mit einigen Kapseln, Geschirrspüler mit einigen Spülmittel Tabs, sehr grosser TV. Für den Sommer steht eine Klimaanlage im Wohnzimmer und gekühlte Böden in der ganzen Wohnung bereit. Im Winter war die Bodenheizung angenehm. Aussicht aus dem 6. Stock direkt auf den See.

Sehr wenig. Die zentrale Lage hat etwas Lärm von der Strasse zwischen dem Haus und dem See, wie zu erwarten war.

Idealer Zeitpunkt für entspr. Buchung liegt vermutlich im Frühling und Herbst.

Es handelt sich um eine Ferienwohnung in sehr guter Lage, mit Sicht auf die Umgebung und insbesondere auf den Lago Maggiore. Die Wohnung war äusserst grossflächig. Insgesamt standen drei Schlafzimmer mit 7 Betten zur Verfügung.

Die Fenster und Terrassentüren waren lediglich mit Doppelglas bestückt, was den gelegentlich erhöhten Verkehrslärm m.E. etwas zu wenig dämmt.

Tolle Lage, 7. Stock mit Blick auf den See. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. Waschmaschine und Trockner waren ebenfalls vorhanden. Ausserdem zwei Badezimmer einfach toll.

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt direkt am See in einer sehr gut ausgestatteten Wohnung.

Die Lage ist genial. Direkt am See, morgens im Bett den Sonnenaufgang über dem See geniessen - einfach herrlich. Auch sind alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in nächster Nähe sowie der Bahnhof, die Schiffanlegestelle usw. Wir hatten mit zwei Damen vor Ort zu tun und beide waren sehr herzlich und haben uns alles erklärt. Immer wieder gerne!

Es ist "Jammern" auf hohem Niveau, aber durch die Lage ist man direkt auch an der Hauptstrasse wo sich Morgens und Abends ein Stau bildet und da einige nicht die Ruhe haben abzuwarten, gibt es halt ab und zu mal eine "hupende" Aufforderung. Tagsüber und Nachts kein Problem.

Perfekte Wohnung für den Aufenthalt am Filmfestival

Die Lage war perfekt. Mit dem Velo ist alles sehr bequem erreichbar (Piazza Grande, See etc.) Der Service von der Vermieterschaft war sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und professionell (Esmeralda). Die Ausstattung der Wohnung war ebenfalls tipptopp. Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen: bei unsere Wohnung 205 A fehlte die Abtrennung vom Schlafzimmer zum Wohnzimmer. Dies ist in der Beschreibung bei Booking nicht erwähnt.. wir würden die Wohnung jederzeit wieder mieten.

Einfach alles! Es war perfekt, grosse Wohnung, genügend Better, grosser Balkon, überall Klimaanlage, wunderbare Dusche, Infrastruktur passte.

Es war noch schwierig herauszufinden ob man jetzt die korrekte Wohnung gebucht hatte, auf den Bildern gab es ein Zimmer mit 3 Einzelbetter, hatten wir aber nicht. Es war einbisschen Glückssache da es mehrere Wohnungen sind glaube ich. Wir hatten es trotzdem schön.

der laerm von der strasse wenn man die balkontür offen hat, aber so ist es halt an der seestrasse. bei geschlossenen fenstern und türen aber kein problem.
