Very romantic setting and decoration. It stays fresh even when it was hot outside and there is air condition available when needed. The host was really friendly and provided good communication via WhatsApp.

There was no curtains between the shower and toilets.

The hostess comfortably installed us and even offered a transfer service from the airport which is much cheaper than one of the other taxis. Thanks you !!!

De kamer was proper. Aangename communicatie met de host. Rustig gelegen. Ruime kamer. Zwembad was fijn om te verkoelen, heb je echt nodig omdat er niet veel stranden zijn in Santorini.

Er lag best wat vuil in het zwembad. Niet echt plaats om in het zonnetje te liggen bij het zwembad. Het verblijf was aangenaam, maar de omgeving rondom het verblijf was niet gezellig. De straten en huizen rondom het verblijf waren vuil, rommelig,… De badkamer was aan de kleine kant. De badkamer en toilet worden nat als je doucht. De afwas moet gedaan worden in de badkamer. Er waren geen kommetjes voor cornflakes/yoghurt.

The property is located about 30mins walk from Fira, so you can visit the town of Fira and bus to Oia, Kamari, Perissia, etc. There are many options for food in Karterados (less than 10min walk). Overall, if you want a relaxing place away from the crazy busy tourist chaos of Oia and Fira at a more reasonable rate, stay here, but I would highly recommend renting a car or ATV unless you are up for walking to everything.

I was so disappointed that upon check-in, I discovered I didn’t have access to the pool. When booking on booking.com there are many pictures of a dreamy pool which made me feel like I would have access to it. I was notified when I arrived that you have to book that specific room (at a higher charge). From others reviews, I’m not the only one who made this mistake so *DOUBLE CHECK AND ASK THE HOST ABOUT THE POOL BEFORE YOU BOOK* I gladly would have paid extra, but when I made my booking on the mobile app, I don’t recall there being more than one room or price option to book with or without pool, which means maybe the room with a pool had already been booked. It would be helpful for the host to include a simple line in the advertisement saying *not all rooms include pool access* to indicate this to guests during booking. The shower area in my room was a new experience (but might just be a common thing in Greece). I felt very uncomfortable splashing and spraying water over the entirety of the bathroom each time I showered due to the lack of an enclosed shower space. There was no daily room service to change soaking wet towels or mop the floors from the wet mess that showering made each day. This is abnormal in my country, but maybe more of a reflection of how things are done in Greece as I have now stayed at 2 other accommodation ma with similar bathroom layouts. Less of a reflection on the host, and more of a heads up for other guests travelling to Greece. I knew I didn’t want to stay in Oia, but if I travel to Santorini again, I would stay closer to Fira next time as doing all of my travels on foot was harder in this town than other islands.
