We enjoyed being out of the hustle of Knysna… this was just close enough (10 min lovely drive to lots of shops) but far enough to feel a bit removed and super relaxed. The area you are in as a very quiet and safe.
We stayed for a number of nights, so I think we used the kitchen more than most. It was pretty basic, but has most of what we needed - and anything missing, Peter organised quickly for us!

Very safe estate, home away from home. The unit is like a little gem. Spacious unit with everything you need and more. Beautiful interior. Clean and fresh towels and bedding. The blockout curtains in rooms with net curtains are like a dream. Just a awesome place. Peter is a Lovely host and goes out of his way to accommodate in Anyway he can. Really enjoyed it and will definitely be back! 10 ⭐ experience!!

The apartment is located on the upper level of a separate building next to the owner's house, with a private entrance and a delightful view of the garden and bird feeders. Sunny mornings were spent birdwatching with a coffee, with two loungers available. We spent eight nights here and enjoyed a perfect stay. The Belvedere estate is safe, peaceful, secluded and a delight, with Knysna centre around a five/ ten minutes drive or an Uber ride away. Ideally located also for the beautiful beaches of Brenton on sea and BuffelsBraii. The peaceful, bright two bedroomed apartment offers comfortable beds with quality linens, friendly, helpful (but unobtrusive) assistance from Peter the owner, streaming services and excellent DSTV on a large TV, great shower and bath with no loadshedding, top quality WiFi, books, boardgames, beach towels and brolly....everything you could wish for in holiday accommodation, with a BBQ and decking area also available if required. Highly recommended and hard to beat!
