Nice studio with great city view

Location is great. Apartment looks cosy, clean and it was really warm. Everything is new.

It is studio, so you need to dismantle the sofa in order to have a sleeping bed, however it was really comfy. It could be a problem if you are stopping for a couple of days and you have some visitors during your stay.

They never showed up, and didn't answer my calls

The owner never showed up, never answered or returned my calls, and then reported to Booking that I didn't show up. When I first made my reservation, the property confirmed it. So I wrote "See you on May the first", and they replied "Deal". They never sent any other instructions about the check in procedure. To be fair, I didn't ask for instructions, but I assumed they'd let me know if we had to schedule the exact time of my arrival or something like that. Since they didn't contact me, I assumed someone would be at the property during the check in hours, like a reception or something of the sort. When I showed up to the property, I realized it's just a regular residential building, and there was noone to talk to, so I tried calling the only phone number they have listed on Booking, but nobody answered my six calls. I sent them a message on Booking, but noone replied. So I was forced to find another place to stay urgently. I don't need to explain how frustrating that is. I didn't pay in advance (they only take cash), so it's not like they swindled me out of money, but I was left on the street with no explanation. And I ended up paying double the price for the place that I did manage to find (literally) last minute. They didn't even return my calls later to apologize or explain themselves. So if they had a good reason for what they did, I wouldn't know.
