Tor Cottage, perfectly positioned!

This is a surprisingly roomy, very picture perfect looking cottage with a large front garden with seating for the morning sun. Perfectly situated 10 mins walk from the high street in a very quiet location off the Wells Road (no traffic noise just bird song 🤩and so peaceful). There is a community garden opposite but the cottage rear gardens are large with comfortable seating and a table for outdoor dining. There is a small lounge pool but no instruction on how to use it. Beautifully furnished inside, there is everything you would need in the kitchen, the dining area has an amazing concrete (?) dining table (mind your legs on the bench which is made from a tree trunk! It’s uncluttered and very comfortable with lovely bedrooms. We are three ladies so we did not have children with us. We would definitely return and highly recommend a stay here.

Excelent, quite place in centre of town, close to shopping, convinient house and garden. This is fully equiped house for friend group or family to stay for as well longer time - friges, kitchen with utensils, wash machine and open air heated jacussi. Host respond on requests on spot. House was well heated, so we didnt suffer from spring wet and cold:)

All was in place. Some touchingly borne, but tidy and well looked after.

The cottage was very spacious with several comfy settees to sit on downstairs plus two in an area by an upstairs window. The kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of hot water for washing up plus a dishwasher. When I told Gina that I had very low immunity she organised an extra deal clean which was a very kind thought. All the bedrooms were a good size and the beds comfortable. I always want a socket near a mirror and that was provided. The shower was very good and the bath towels large and thick. I enjoyed the beautiful roll top bath in our bedroom and the basin quirkily fitted into an antique dressing table. There were some unique touches like the beautifully carved hand rail on the stairs and the striking dining table and benches. We couldn’t really use the garden as the weather wasn’t the best but it would be enjoyable to sit in with the sun shining. Parking was just past the third cottage so very near and there was plenty of street parking too. A lot of thought has gone into making Tor Cottage a lovely place to stay and I just wish we could have stayed longer.

We loved the look of the dining table and the beautifully made benches but for a couple of people in their eighties they were quite difficult to use. A small table and chairs near the garden windows would have been good for me and my husband.
