Dream Stay - Historical 3-Bedroom Apartment with Sauna

Es war sehr gemütlich und super geräumig. Dazu war es absolut ruhig, das hatte ich garnicht erwartet.

Die Wohnung liegt in der 2. Etage Altbau, das heißt, man musste ordentlich viele Treppen hoch und runter. Das sollten Menschen wissen, die körperlich eingeschränkt sind und/oder viel Gepäck (wir hatten einen schweren Fahrradkoffer dabei) haben.

The location is amazing - right in the centre of the old town but a few streets away from the bars so not to keep you awake at night - so its just perfect. The view from the lounge room is incredible and there is a lot of space

Not enough toilet rolls for the guests staying. The rugs are pretty leathal on the floors, we ended up rolling them all up as they slip all over the place no where to hang up clothes as there are no wardrobes. The door on the shower is broken so it scrapes across the metal and is incredibly loud. The bathroom door is also very noisey - which often woke the people in the bedroom across when someone used the toilet in the night. Worth knowing that there are 44 steps up to the appartment - and no lift.

Televisiosta ei näkynyt suomen kanavia. Talouspaperi ja tiskirätit puuttuivat. WC-paperia niukasti. Pimennysverhoja pitäisi olla enemmän Roskapusseja oli niukasti. Ovet vinkuivat melkoisesti.

The location is amazing, exactly where you want to be, in a quiet, beautiful, location but right by the tourist destinations, restaurants, and close to the train station and bus stops too. The apartment is genuinely impressive - it has a plaque with the history of the building (an art gallery) and is beautiful, with some actual art on the walls and thoughtful "cozies" in the windows, which are seats with stunning views of the church. The sauna is good, and easy to work, but we discovered not to be real sauna people. We are a large family so the 3 bedrooms with ample beds were a massive draw, and rightly so.

There are a few niggles. Some of these should be addressed by the host. The biggie is that there are only net curtains, the "real" curtains don't cover the windows. This will be awful in summer and is a privacy issue (though you are not very overlooked). Onto minor niggles: The sink plug/trap doesn't stay up, and the dishwasher was out of salt (we just didn't use it). Nowhere for wet boots. The cable TV was a bit temperamental but did work (and in English, Estonian, plus other).
