What a delightful surprise as from the images I’d thought there were quite a number of rental properties however, there were just two semi-detached properties to rent. Snuggled against the owners beautiful large property there was just a one bedroom and a two bedroom apartment. We were in the one bedroom. Both were set in beautiful grounds in a rural setting but with very easy access to the main road into lovely Cluny which is a 5 minute drive or a track if you wish to walk or cycle. Our accommodation was clean a good size with a fully equipped kitchen and very comfortable. The lovely bonus was a private patio overlooking a mill stream pool. It was also on one level which was great as we had our dog with us. Marianne the owner was a great host spending time explaining the area and providing a map encircled with all the places she recommended. The area is wonderful with so many beautiful villages and small towns. Marianne”s husband Peter advised my husband on fishing locations. We left feeling it was somewhere we would love to revisit.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Frau Marianne empfangen und bekamen viele Informationen über die Wohnung und Empfehlungen für Ausflüge und der ganzen Umgebung. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich, alles zweckmässig eingerichtet. Ausstattung der Küche vollkommen genügend, auch wenn man in den Ferien auch mal richtig kochen will, was wir natürlich auch gemacht haben. Der sehr einladende Garten auch sehr gepflegt, einfach wundervoll. Wir sind begeistert und werden nächstes Jahr wiederkommen! Herzlichen Dank liebe Marianne
