Dreamy Apartments Corfu

The apartment was spacious and well equipped. The host was really helpful and nice. The pool was nice and also clean. The free tennis courts and pool table were fun. It was good value for money.

The apartment was not centrally located but it was only a 15 minute walk into Gouvia and a 5 minute walk to the bus stop for Ipsos or Corfu Town.

The assistance and response time from the host were unbelievable. He helped us carry our luggage upstairs and even drove us to the local harbour where our sailing trip started. We stayed only stayed one night, but they still went over and beyond what I expected. The apartment itself was nice and conveniently located.

Room 17 was in direct line with all oncoming cars, mopeds and noisy motorbikes, so every time (and it was many times) during the night, while trying to sleep, headlights shone directly into the room and the noise was ridiculous. I have attached a photo of our room at the top of what we renamed cardiac hill, right at the top of that hill the apartment right infront, directly in line with all oncoming traffic! The bed was awful! now I did reach out and they did provide a topper for the bed, but in reality we'd lost 3 nights to bad hips and very poor sleep! this part of our holiday was supposed to be our relaxing time, it really did not meet the expectations of the reviews we read on booking.com, this property is no where near exceptional, it felt more like a youth hostel, you even had to do your own bins and the rooms weren't cleaned during out 8 night stay, im meant to be on holiday, not washing my own towels! The pool area was shabby, uncut and unkept grounds and it felt like the pool had never been cleaned, greasy muggy feel to it, there was a filthy bbq area with loads of stuff just dumped, we ended using Hotel Telesilla pool and opera blue hotel pool, instead as what they offered in terms of cleanliness and modern facilities including a nice pool bar and clean fresh pool water far outweighed "Dreamy" - it was free to visit both lovely places, we did pay 5 euros to visit Spiti Prifti as well, again a far nicer feeling to the place. There is literally nothing 'close by' smallest shop around the corner for basics, but the walk to get to Goudia was not what you expect, a busy dual carriageway, stinking drains, but we got over that and thought well at least we are getting our steps in, im talking 14000 steps a day. If you go to this area of corfu stay in Goudia - nice places to eat and some lovely hotels too
